“An experience not to be missed!”
Very traditional property in a beautiful area. Stolberg is amazing, like a Hansel and Gretel fairy story. Hotel was ideal for exploring the town. The accommodation was a suite, very traditional furnishings but catered well for modern technology . Very modern bathroom.

“Very welcoming friendly hotel in a wonderful location with great restaurant”
Historic old building and great location, right on edge of the village, very friendly staff and delicious food in the restaurant. Breakfast was brilliant. I really appreciated the fridge in the room and how very clean everything was. Parking for a motorcycle was very convenient as well.

The Old Lady and The Gentleman at the reception were exceptionally good and helped us to get settled down. The rooms were well furnished and sufficiently spacious. The location is so convenient and very close to the center. The restaurant and food is wonderful.

The staff. Very friendly elderly lady checked us in. Beautiful hostess showed us around. Waiter was one of the nicest we've ever met. Loved the location real close to the public pool

“Adequate place to stay when hiking through the Harz”
A very 'authentic' place, low ceilings and somewhat at the edge of town, which is a jewel in the Harz. There is a restaurant directly at the hotel.

“Enjoyed the stay and the staff and family that ran the hotel were brilliant and welcoming.”
The breakfast and location were excellent, we had had a long journey from Holland to get here, it was about 35 miles from the autobahn and a welcome change of environment. One of our party had had an accident that required him to visit local doctor which was about 100 metres from the hotel and then hospital for a foot injury, the hotel were extremely helpful and kind, my friend unfortunately had to rest up awhile and wait for the RAC recovery and flight home which took a couple of days to organise, meanwhile local doctor and nurses were brilliant. We loved the hearty food and beer, probably not so good for vegans. There is secure parking nearby if needed.
