Nothing, the food was overpriced, small portions and poor quality. The facility was in a state of disrepair, and the water had a bad smell. The staff were friendly but were just looking where they could overcharge. I am truly dissatisfied and will never go again. The price paid was for a star facility but the standard was exceptionally poor

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit this amazing place and I must say, it was one of the best trips I have ever taken. As soon as I arrived at the resort, I was greeted with warm smiles from the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was immediately taken in by the tranquil atmosphere of the resort. The lush gardens, wooden bungalows, and beautiful views of the Mekong River made me feel like I was in paradise. The bungalows at Mekong Bird Resort Strung Treng are designed to blend in with the natural surroundings, providing a comfortable yet rustic experience. Each bungalow is equipped with all the necessary amenities including a comfortable bed, a private bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the river. As I settled into my bungalow, I couldn't help but appreciate how well-maintained and clean everything was. The resort truly takes pride in providing its guests with a comfortable and pleasant stay. One of the highlights of my trip was the boat tour on the Mekong River. The resort offers both private and group boat tours that take you on a journey through some of the most scenic areas of the river. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, pointing out different bird species and sharing interesting facts about the local culture and history. We also had the opportunity to visit a nearby floating village where we got to interact with the locals and learn about their way of life.
