“Beautiful views from a large, private villa.”

Location, views and the villa were all stunning! The bed was large and comfortable, large bathroom, small kitchenette, plus lounge areas. The owners were very nice, the accommodation safe, and the surroundings beautiful.

Very secluded with two villas for guests. Easy to drive to the highlights in Stellenbosch. Charl is a great host and gives you a 5 star experience along with complimentary wine tasting without any hard sales. The option to have in room couple massage at decent prices was a bonus! Breakfast served on the veranda at own request

Property is beautiful and is about 10 minutes away from Stellenbosch city by car. The villa itself is a very good size and the amenities inside are modern! With the low amount of rooms, it is like you have a private pool alongside the villa too. Some great touches are included in the stay like a generous complimentary wine tasting, a wonderful breakfast with good choice and a bottle of wine made on site. We also paid extra for a massage on property during our stay, having an outdoor massage was perfect and very relaxing. The staff were all amazing, room was spotless with a turn down service every night, the property owners were friendly and introduced themselves to us. Want to give a special shout-out to Charl as well who is a master in hospitality and was available on WhatsApp for any questions and asks! Would 100% recommend!

“A little slice of heaven just outside of Stellenbosch!”

We adored our honeymoon stay at Deux Freres and only wish we could have stayed longer! From the smooth and easy check in experience with Charl who was super welcoming, complete with a glass of wine from their vineyard, to the stunning and spacious grounds including a pool, huge and gorgeously decorated bedroom suite (only one of two on the property, which we loved!) where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning in our own private conservatory, and last but by no means least the three friendly dogs, we couldn’t fault a thing! We hope to return in the future and recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a beautiful and bespoke stay in the Stellenbosch area.

“Great place to stay for Couples. Great Wine!”

The breakfasts were server on the patio which is a nice touch. The choices are also great, however the one morning we ordered tea and that was not provided, and the croissants were also over baked and bone dry. For the rest it is on par with many upmarket hotels. The complimentary bottle of wine is also a nice touch.

Very beautiful guesthouse in the countryside. Antelopes grazing just in front of our suite. The owner family and the employees are very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Game drives in a perfect scenery. Not too many animals, which is very good. Much better than all those parks and reserves at the coast. A perfect stay just to wind down and relax.
