Unit was spacious and comfortable. Nice view of turf houses and field with sheep and lambs. Had some problem with utensils for cooking and staff came promptly with new utensils.

We chose this property to break up our journey on our return to the airport after travelling route 1 and also because it is a short drive to Seljavallalaug swimming pool. Although close to the road, we were not aware of traffic noise and enjoyed the mountain views as well as the bakery across the road. The bathroom and kitchen look new and the kingsize bed is very comfortable.

“Cozy little cottage with great view”

This little cottage is amazing! In the kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare some delicious meals. The bathroom is modern, the bed is comfortable and everything is very clean! The only thing that is a little bit scary when hearing it for the first time is the water boiler that makes some noise when pumping the water. But this is absolutely no problem. The view on the Eyjafjallajökull is stunning!

The accommodation was clean on the surface, however there was a spiders nest underneath the bed

The kitchen is quiet small. The boiler in the bathroom is so noisy that you will wake up each other if someone uses water during the night. The walls are very thin. The internet was so bad and patchy that we could not even upload a few photos. We had hoped for two single beds and as it was a queen size bed and we did not want to share the bed, one of us slept on the floor on an air mattress they kindly provided. I guess in the end this accommodation did not suit our needs which we unfortunately only realized upon arrival and it was too expensive with respect to the budget we had available to just leave one night early for a better suited place.

Location directly at the ring road next to a beautiful mountain. Easy check in. Good equipped apartment.
