Beautiful place with so much charm. The views were great and the place had such a peaceful energy. It was very clean. The breakfast had a lot of option and was delicious. The staff (Daniela was one of their names) were very welcoming and helpful.

A beautiful property and lovely rooms. Great location for nearby hikes and set in a quaint village. We absolutely loved watching the thunderstorms from bed. Daniela was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and catered to my dietary requirements.

Everything! The hosts are incredibly helpful and you felt like being at home. The house itself is completely renovated and came out beautiful. The homemade cakes for breakfast were delicious and you can start various hikes from Stazzema. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable and you have a beautiful view on the mountains surrounding the village.

Beautiful property, epic locations, spacious, incredible views, and the most amazingly hospitable host - she really could not have done more for us, really brilliant. Stunning homemade breakfast too. Outstanding.

The beautiful house is placed in the calm mountain village of Stazzema, which provides a perfect base for hikes in the apuanian alps but also allows for example to go to the beach, Cinque Terre or Lucca. The real gem of the booking was however our hosts, that treated us very kindly and provided us every day with a delicious breakfast, consisting of various self-baked pastries. Thanks for the fantastic stay!

L'Antico Asilo is located in the small village of Stazzema, just next to several hiking trails in the Apuan Alps. The hotel is recently refurbished, everything is clean, all the facilities are new and comfortable, and the place is very beautiful and cozy. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

“Serene stay in the mountains”

A very comfortable stay, our room was lovely in this beautifully renovated property decorated with lovely artwork nestled in the mountains. The whole place was incredibly clean and tidy throughout. Our hosts were very hospitable and welcoming and there were homemade local crepes and cakes for breakfast in the morning.

The view it is so beautiful, in the middle of mountains. House it’s also beautiful and full of history and owners are so kind and helpful, we are comming again next year.

This B&B shines like a beacon on the hill. It's clean as a whistle and the well heated rooms have excellent views but the real draw is the hospitality. My partner and I rocked up off season and expected restaurants in Stazzema to be open. They weren't. Daniella made us an excellent dinner with drinks. If it didn't save our life it certainly made the night very welcoming. Come here and stay. Seriously.
