“Beautiful stay in a castle town!”
What a surprisingly charming stay! Marija met us on arrival to help us bring our car through the castle gate. The property is inside the castle walls and very nice to walk around the area and enjoy the sunset. The property has everything we needed with a good-sized kitchen and air conditioning. The room was very quiet and we slept well!

Not so easy to find the apartment, but we called the host and they met us, and took us inside the old gate to our apartment which was very good.

“BEST PLACE TO STAY IN ŠTANJEL!!!”
Perfect location within a medieval fortress, just a 1-minute walk to the center with breathtaking views! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond, not only handing us the keys but also preparing extra rooms so we had the entire house to ourselves. They were always available and happy to help with anything we needed, making our stay comfortable and memorable. 10/10 – perfect stay! Beautiful location, amazing hosts, and spectacular views. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

“Exceptional hospitality and tranquil comfort”
I absolutely loved my stay at Marija's place. The couple's exceptional warmth and friendliness made me feel like I was staying with my own family. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere in a spacious and impeccably clean house, while their thoughtful gesture of picking me up and guiding me to their home through the narrow city entrance was truly appreciated.

“Brilliant holiday in a magnificient village”
We had a brilliant family holiday, with a lovely, kind host , in a beautiful village. Our room was comfortable, we did not have any problems with the shared bathroom. The kitchen is spacious, very well equipped. There is enough room to sit down to have breakfast even if there are other guests. Marija and her husband are very helpful and informative.Here I also would like to wish them good health and enough power to run this guesthouse for a long time. The village is simply magnificient. It was great to walk around in the mornings, its narrow streets and the great garden gives it a nice atmosphere. It is really hard to leave this calm and beautiful village behind, however, it is the best possible starting point to visit all the places of interests in a 50-60 kms of circle, all around Italy and Slovenia. We could spend there two weeks at least without being bored. So...definitely we will go back and can recommend the place to anybody.

“A wonderful place with fairy-tale surroundings.”
The location is truly amazing and the hosts were very friendly and helpful, including recommendations on bicycle routes. They also let us park our car on their private property and transported our luggage. Kitchen is shared by all guests but spacious and well equipped.
