“Fantastic quaint property with an exceptional view”

The view was incredible and the attention to detail at the property were lovely, even had the radio playing for when we arrived.

We loved the cabin, especially its view down at the lake. Very comfortable as well, this cozy little house manages to make you feel as If you were sleeping outdoors, while enjoying the comfort of being inside actually. Some sheep visited us, which we liked. Very friendly neighborhood and Host, who helped us find a Workshop to solve some Car Problems.

What isn’t there to like! From the drive up, you’re captivated by amazing scenery. The property itself is unique, and you’ve great privacy. We’d have loved the option to use the fire-pit and BBQ, however the weather was not so kind during the evening. There is everything you could need, and our host couldn’t be more helpful!

“Exceptional stay with breathtaking views!”

The cosiest cabine with breathtaking views. It had everything provided to make it a memorable stay. The bbq with covered outside space, firepit with logs and wood cutting tools, the patio with the sofas and most amazing backdrop. This continued inside. Anything you could need was there and the way you can admire the view from every corner in the hut, even from your pillow in the morning... nothing short of exceptional. Our four year old really enjoyed the trampoline, zip wire and outdoor play area! We will certainly recommend this beautiful cabine to others and would love to stay again in the future!

Beautiful sunset view, comfy outdoor chairs, easy to reach, relatively close to the airport/Oslo, hassle-free access via key box and chic & minimal design. Everything worked and we had a pleasant stay. Good for a short stay!

On the heights of Lake Mjösa, we visited this magnificent little cabin with a breathtaking view. It was not only a magical place to stay but also very practical, as it was only 40 minutes from our plane at Oslo airport the next day. I highly recommend this place. -Nikola's friendly welcome -The modern wooden cabin with its large windows and its spirit of integration into nature. -The two outdoor areas: the lounge on the open terrace and the lounge under the covered pergola with barbecue and firepit. -The proximity to nature and the magnificent views -A visit from the sheep grazing freely in the neighbourhoods during the evening and the birds singing. -The cabin is modern, clean and bright, with large windows and a magnificent modern lighting system. The cabin has a Scandinavian ‘hygge’ feeling to it, with a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. You want to contemplate the surrounding nature and the landscape as it changes with the weather. -The beds are very comfortable, cosy and carefully positioned slightly higher up so that you can still watch the view even when you're lying down. -The fully equipped kitchen, DAB radio and televisions with cosy screensaver in the bedrooms. We didn't have time to try out the firepit outside, but Nikola recommends it. Must be great to chill out and relax in the sofas under the pergola with a drink next to the firepit !

Fantastic cabin with an amazing view. Cabin nice and arranged in a very smart way despite limited space. Personel very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended for a stay in a peace and quiet place.

“Exceptional and we will be back!”

My husband, 2 year old and I loved our stay at the Hide Hut! The views from the cabin were spectacular and we loved the cosy outdoor area with the firepit and BBQ. The cabin was extremely clean, the place smelled lovely and upon arrival the music was turned on low which was a nice welcoming touch. The cabin is luxuriously decorated and you can tell so much attention was paid to the small details. The owner was very helpful and called us promptly when we had a question.

We are very pleased with our stay. We spent 6 nights in a cozy cottage. The owner was very helpful and even organized a pair of bikes for us. The contact was very good. Thank you!
