“Very nice place near everything!”

The house is actually better than it is in the pictures! We booked the three-bedroom-house. The swimming pool was bigger than I thought it would be. Host is friendly and willing to help.

Amazing stay! The host was incredibly kind — he welcomed us with homemade wine, fresh cucumber from his garden, and sweet melon. Later, he even shared delicious BBQ meat with us. He checked on us regularly to make sure everything was perfect and truly showered us with treats and kindness. The place was spotless, beautiful, and we had the pool all to ourselves. When we had a small accident (our fault) on our last day, he took us to the pharmacy and even drove us to our next accommodation in Chania. We’re so grateful — he went above and beyond. Highly recommended!

“Great apartment, amazing host - cannot recommend enough!”

We cannot recommend Skandalakis apartment enough! Having traveled around the world for over 20 years this is for sure one of the best self-catered apartments we stayed in. Super clean, extremely well organized (nothing is missing), great space for a family of 4 adults & 1 baby, clean and private swimming pool (unfortunately we only enjoyed 2 baths in it, as the beach situated just 5 minutes away is so very nice as well). As for the host, again, just extraordinary: him and his wife personally greeted us and introduced the apartment, checked in daily to make sure we had everything we needed and even offered us traditional goods and a departure gift for our baby. We intend to come back and recommend them to other people coming to Crete. Ps: I was a bit worried reading one bad review before booking, but after stay there I can only imagine some bad-intended people can leave such review for this place. Honest opinion, just ignore it;)

“Amazing home for a vacation!”

The apartment was beautiful! We really loved spending time at the apartment relaxing by the pool or walking to the beach for a swim. The host was very generous and helpful with everything! We can definitely recommend this apartment for a relaxing holiday in the sun!

“Fantastic experience”

Excellent apartment with a small pool. View over the ocean and 10 minutes walk to the beach. But the best was the owner. He provided us with fine suggestions for tours, fresh vegetables, olive oil and raki. This stay is the best we have experienced.

“Perfect place for a group of people”

The Villa was big enough so we had enough space for everyone (we were 4 persons). The villa is located at a comfortable distance from the sea beach which can be reached in around 10 minutes walking. The host was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Stelios was so kind to take us to the nearest supermarket and allowed us to check out for a couple of hours later because our flight was late afternoon. We had a great vacation there and we are very grateful for that.

“Great place to stay with older children.”

The property was well equipped in kitchen and having two bathrooms was very convenient for our family of four. The pool is not very big but big enough to cool you down from time to time. The owner Stelios is very friendly and gave us fresh tomatoes from his garden, located opposite of the house. The beach, is at 10min walking distance as well as mini markets and a lot of restaurants. Chania is a very nice city close bye to visit in the evening. There’s also a very nice rooftop restaurant at less then 3 minutes walking distance.

“The most amazing holiday!”

The property is beautifully decorated and in immaculate condition. It is very well equiped and the pool is just wonderful. It is located only a few minutes walk from all the amenities and the beach. The best experience of our holiday was to meet Stelios and Aliki (the owners) who treated us like family and who made our first family trip to Crete truly unforgettable. We loved every minute and we will be back for sure!

Our family stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment, when we arrived, Stelios, who owns the apartments, was there to meet us, show us around and help us with any questions we had as we had never visited Crete before. The apartment was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated, it is a 5 minute walk from the local beach, restaurants, and shops, plus the main bus route that runs to Chania. The pool is lovely, a nice size to dip in, we didn't hardly use it as we were out exploring everyday. Stelios has a garden patch at the front of the apartments, he is about most days if you need him or want any local advice, he is always happy to help and is extremely friendly, his English is very good. I would highly recommend a stay at Skandalakis Homes & Apartments, it is a good location for visiting all areas in the Chania region, I would also recommend hiring a car as there are so many beautiful places to visit.

“Very relaxing and enjoyable two weeks in beautiful western Crete”

The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped with a large balcony with a sea view. Very quiet location but only a few minutes walk from local beach, restaurants, shops and bus stop to get into Chania. Ideal base for exploring western Crete by car. Host Stelios was very friendly helpful and generous. Ideal for us and we’ll definitely be back in the future. Late September is a great time to visit- not too busy and not too hot

“Perfect vacation home”

Such a wonderful vacation place that made our family feel like home. It’s spacious, quiet, but close to everything. The best was having our host who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable.

We liked everything. The very nice hotel owner not only gave us a liter of red wine prepared by himself, but also a bottle of pure olive oil from his own production. The friendliest host in Greece so far! The rooms are brand new, comfortables and very well equipped. The owners were very nice and friendly. Waiting to come again to this excellent Hotel.

The property is located near several restaurants and shops. Beach is walking distance from the property. The apartment has all the amenities required for a pleasant stay. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were kept near and clean. Most importantly, the owner is very co-operative and is willing to assist whenever required. We enjoyed our stay at the apartment.
