Disappointing stay – cleanliness and maintenance issues We were unfortunately disappointed with our stay at this house. Upon arrival, there was no running water, which was very inconvenient after a long journey. We managed to resolve the issue with help from the owner over the phone, but this is something that should have been checked in advance. The house was generally worn down and did not feel properly cleaned. There was a strange smell on the ground floor that made the atmosphere unpleasant. To make matters worse, we saw a large silverfish crawling on the kitchen wall while we were eating — very unsettling and not acceptable in a rental property. Overall, the property did not meet our expectations based on the listing, and we would not choose to stay here again unless significant improvements are made.
