The place that we stayed in was a small barn converted to about 6 rooms. The room that we stayed in was very small, no space even for the luggage. It was a rainy day, and it was impossible not to bring dirt on the shoes into the room. Everything was cramped in the room. We could not wait to get out the next morning. There is no much choice of accommodation nearby, and I would honestly recommend driving a bit further and sleeping in Fresno.

Location was good for Kings Canyon. Amenities were fine. Good communication with the owner. Great views, lovely quiet property.

“The most horrible stay we ever had!”

This house could be a possible health risk! Not only that there is used underwear in the rooms, the furniture is beyond gross, the kitchen equipment is lacking essential, no in this case also the owner exposed us to a possible health threat. When we arrived the main fridge/freezer was still holding some food but seems to be not working properly. After asking the owner told us that she knew that the fridge/freezer was broken but she told the prior occupants that they can leave the food. The owner put a replacement fridge in the house but also this did not work properly and was fixed. Only after this we discovered that the freezer of the broken main fridge/freezer was still also holding food which was already thawed. Not only ice cream but also (not so frozen anymore) fish! Alaskan Pollock and more. And not only a bit but a lot!!! Since no one cleaned that out we took the possible health risk and discarded this deeply disgusting mess! The owner tried to appease us in this process but we had the impression that this was only done half heartedly and that the main goal was not to make our stay bearable, but to.make as much money out of us as possible. Taken together: we strongly recommend never to book this house!

Very nice countryside. Very close to kings canyon and sequoia national park. Very silent and peaceful location.

This place is very charming and conveniently located close to the NP. The check in was extremely easy and the room well equipped. Cleanliness was ok. Would recommend to anyone visiting Sequoia or Kings Canyon!

“Uncomfortable bed”

Messages friendly, check in easy. Television not working. Roaches in the room. And the worst: THE BED. Could not sleep for a single hour. Seriously. We all had a terrible backache while lying on it and could not sleep. Also expensive for what you get, but there is not much around... Shower was newly made, looked nice, but not possible not to wash your hair since the water comes from the ceiling.

Loads of space, our own cabin and porch to sit out on (complete with nosey cats). Kitchen to cook in was helpful, though could have done with a bigger pan and plates. Location was great for us - good for the national park and out in the country. The drive is bumpy but fine if you take it slow. Friendly owners too.
