“Great base in Split”

This was a great base for a family wedding in Split. 20min walk into the Riva or 10mins by bus. Hotel comfortable and staff helpful and attentive. Breakfast great. Parking garage underneath.

During May 2025, I had the pleasure of celebrating my 60th birthday at Marvie Hotel & Health, and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional staff. Every member of the team was warm, polite, professional, and always willing to help, which made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. I also really enjoyed the breakfast. While the selection was largely similar each day, the quality and freshness of the food were consistently very good. One of the highlights of the hotel was its wellness facilities—the indoor pool, sauna, and spa were excellent. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind during free time after sightseeing. The location of the hotel is another big advantage. It is close to the sea, with several excellent restaurants and convenient stores all within walking distance. The historic center of Split, including Diocletian's Palace and the Riva Promenade, is only about a 10-minute drive away. At the same time, being closer to the beach meant we could enjoy a quieter and more peaceful atmosphere, with lovely seaside spots and charming beach shacks along the waterfront. Overall, it was a memorable birthday celebration, and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Split who is looking for comfort, relaxation, and genuine hospitality.

The pool, spa, and gym facilities were exceptionally well-maintained, contributing to a very pleasant stay. The location is convenient, with approximately a 25-minute walk to both the Old Town and Žnjan Beach. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast offerings were somewhat limited in variety, yet everything was fresh and flavorful.

I had one of the nicest welcome’s to a hotel, the lady behind the reception couldn’t have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. I arrived on an early flight and although check in was from 1500 she enabled me to get into my room by 1100. The spa facilities were excellent and a decent gym.

(1) super professional and service minded staff. Our flight got cancelled due to Lufthansa strike. We decided to stay 2 more days in Split, and chose to try Marvie than keep on staying at Radisson Blu. When booking, we booked the wrong dates by mistake. When we requested to change date it was not possible in booking.com because one of the days is fully booked on this website. Irene at reception calmed us down and solved all the paper work with her profession and passion. Upon arrival she also upgraded us to a superior room with sea view on the top floor. I cannot thank Irene more. (2) pool and spa are great. In Radisson, j never swam in their indoor pool because the water temperature is too cold. In Marvie, the pool water temperature is about 29degree which is perfect for me. (3) location is great. Close to the sea and beach. Close to supermarket and restaurants. Very convenient Neighborhood (especially when compared to Radisson). (4) the breakfast is great. Even though the options is a bit smaller compared to Radisson, I only have this big stomach and Marcie’s breakfast selection is just enough for me. (5) the superior room we got is very fresh and spacious with a great sea view

Our stay at Marvie was a genuinely pleasant experience. Marvie strikes a wonderful balance between comfort and elegance. The rooms are impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed. The overall sense of order and cleanliness throughout the hotel deserves special praise. Breakfast is another highlight. The selection is generous and carefully prepared, offering both lighter options and more substantial choices. Fresh ingredients, excellent coffee, and a calm, well-organized dining space made it a lovely way for us to begin the day. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the staff. Everyone we encountered was professional, warm, and genuinely attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Their kindness and willingness to help created an atmosphere that felt both welcoming and refined. Marvie manages to combine the efficiency of a modern hotel with the warmth of true hospitality. It is a place where we immediately felt comfortable and well looked after. We would gladly return and warmly recommend it to anyone visiting Split.
