Overview
With large outdoor pool and terrace, Il Poggiaccio is a 14th century estate set in the hills between Siena and San Gimignano. It features a wine cellar. Apartments at the Borgo Il Poggiaccio Residenza d'Epoca are located in restored Medieval manor houses. Each spacious apartment has exposed wooden beams, and some feature stone fireplaces. A fully equipped kitchenette complete with fridge is provided. Wi-Fi is free. The estate boasts tennis and basketball courts, and free mountain bike hire. Guests can book massages for an additional fee. Breakfast is available daily, served in the restaurant "La Cantina Del Poggiaccio", for extra charge. Borgo il Poggiaccio is 25 Km from Siena. San Gimignano an Volterra is less than a 1-hour drive away. The estate provides private parking free of charge.

“Excellent location”
Location is brilliant for travel around Tuscany - must have own vehicle. Size of apartment and appliances. Rosanna is amazing. Food is very good- very expensive. Swimming pool. Parking.

“Peace, charm and comfort at the Tuscany”
It was a great experience in Tuscany. Really close to Siena, San Gimignano and others small towns. The room was fantastic and very confortable. Rosanna from the staff was very helpful and kind to us all the time. The restaurant is also really good and the waiters team were amazing. The pool is also really great with a stunning view to the hills.

The location is very calm. Food is great. Rooms are very cosy. A lot of parking places. And the staff is really generous. Would recommend a stay to anyone!

Not far from Siena. Clean rooms, incredible Borgo and territory. Very nice personnel, good pool. Super peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The breakfast was absolutely exceptional-delicious, fresh and with a great variety to choose. A special thanks to Rosanna, who was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. Her warm and attentive service really made a difference. Highly recommended—I’d gladly return!

“Fantastic!”
We spent five wonderful nights at Borgo Il Poggiaccio with our baby, and it was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was peaceful, the surroundings beautiful, and the food absolutely fantastic. The staff were kind and attentive – especially Rossanna, who made our stay truly special. They handled even our special requests with care and efficiency, always with a smile. Everything was perfect, and we can’t wait to return one day.

This place was an absolute dream. My husband and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was stunning, room and property was exceptionally clean, bead was comfy, food was delicious, staff were extremely kind and welcoming. we also enjoyed the fact that if we didn’t feel like leaving the property there was activities to choose from at the property such as swimming, riding bikes around and tennis.
