Nico is a joy to behold. Faculties are fantastic. Owner is very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. Beds are comfortable, the jacuzzi tub in room was phenomenal.

Stephen is a caring host who grew up in the area and enjoys sharing his experiences with his guests. He is incredibly flexible and helpful. Even if you've never felt comfortable around dogs before, Stephen's dog Nico will help you overcome your fear. Nico is a well-balanced dog that everyone will love. We stayed there for a week and would definitely stay again if we were to vacation in the region. We never got bored during our time there or in the area. The view of Deer Lake is magnificent. Thanks to Stephen for your hospitality.

My room had a gorgeous view of Deer Lake; the owner was very welcoming and friendly. I traveled with my dog and he was very happy to run around with the canine host.

Continental breakfast..fresh fruits, yogourt, choices of toasts, muffins, local jams and jelly. Options to add eggs, bacon and or sausage(wild game) for a modest extra fee. Host was very kind, helpful, resourceful and flexible. He is knowledgeable as he is native of the area. He offers a selection of tours in the region…informative. Relaxing, homelike atmosphere. Guests have access to the kitchen( all appliances), dining room, living room, deck, hot tub, sauna. Free coffee and tea…self serve. It was nice to be able to come back and make our own supper instead of going out to a restaurant at the end of the day. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and had all the amenities: towels, soap, shampoo… Thank you so much for your hospitality!

“Great views and company”

A beautiful, comfortable and clean property in a location with outstanding views. The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, joined us for drinks at the golf club in walking distance, and served a great breakfast with interesting conversation. Of course the star of the show is Nico, the thoughtful dog who inspired the accomodation name, a friendly good boy ready to welcome all guests.

We had a large room with a great ensuite. We were on the lower level with a large picture window. There is a sauna and a hot tub. Best part is Nico!!
