This is truly a great place to stay over. The place has all the necessary facilities with a touch of elegance . Very close to the sea and all the local restaurants and cafes. Hergla is a small town and we thoroughly enjoyed the area and this lovely boutique hotel. The owner and the staff are also very nice and helpful. We highly recommend this place! Don’t miss out!

“A beautiful, peaceful place to stay”

Dark Yessine is a beautiful white and blue building and a lovely, peaceful place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated and we loved the painted tile details. Breakfast was excellent with delicious hot and cold options and coffee/tea. Farah spoke great English and gave us some helpful recommendations of places to visit and where to eat in the evening. We had a lovely, peaceful time and this was our favourite stay of the whole trip!

“Lovely hotel in Hergla”

Nice boutique hotel with comfortable rooms. I was in the room with gold decor which was beautiful. There was central heating which I hadn't seen elsewhere in Tunisia, which kept the room warm during the February evenings. The shower pressure was very good. The hotel is close to cafes, restaurants and the sea. The included breakfast was very tasty.

Absolutely charming authentic Dar. All clean and comfortable. Super Tunisian breakfast. Our kind and helpful host served early to accommodate our flight time. Parking is 100m away by the Mosque. We carried our bags from there because the street is very narrow. Lots of street food and modest restaurants nearby. A couple of upmarket restaurants a short walk away, overlooking the sea.

“Practically perfect in every way”

Pleasant reception and check-in from Farrah and her cat. Can drop off luggage right out front then park a little ways down in the square. The Dar is beautiful and charming outside and inside. The room is pleasant, not too crowded. Good lighting and available power sockets. A good sized window, mostly private, looking over the courtyard area; small balcony with table and chairs in front. The bathroom is bright and functional. Water, kettle, coffee and tea supplies provided. Toiletries and hair dryer provided. Linens are lovely cotton with an actual top sheet! Good duvet and cover, two pillows pp and comfortable bed. Beautiful traditional fouta bath and hand towels. Two nightstands both with reading lamps. Small closet with a hangers. Pretty roof top deck with a few seating areas. Well functioning AC/heating unit even with a thoughtful wood box built around to lessen its presence. The eating area/lounge is attractive, large and internal with one large table and a few smaller ones. Coming from Canada, I initially thought dinner at this Dar was expensive at 26 euro pp but it was good. Soup and bread, bric, small salad, grilled fish and prawns, vegetables and fries, and a dessert of warm chocolate cup with orange slices. The crockery is beautiful. Breakfast was very good and hearty. However I didn’t get a cup of coffee until I was almost finished eating. And that was it, one cup of coffee per person.

Such a nice hotel in a lovely little village. Nadine was so helpful and kind and gave us lots of restaurant recommendations which was really appreciated. The breakfast was a big highlight - soo delicious and so much food!
