This turned out to be the ideal spot for our final night before heading back home. Its proximity to the airport and meeting our expectations made it a great choice.

The location was very closed to the airport, so easy on the way back. It is ok distance to travel by car everywhere. Breakfast - juice was missing, eggs were to another shelf in the fridge, so we didnt know that we can use, the information was pretty confusing as information on the food was that its paid breakfast and this was included in the price ... but welcoming peace of food so this was nice ...

Location. Near to AirPort (1.7k with dedicated path) and to local trails. Responsive owner.

Was well located and easy to arrive.

Location near airport. (we took taxi less than 5 mins drive from airport to apartment cost DKK 250) It is more like hostel with shared bathroom and kitchen. Owner is nice to give us two rooms at ground floor where kitchen/living room is located. And allow us to store luggage after check-out. There are two rooms each at ground floor and 1st floor, each floor has a bathroom/toilet.

The house was relatively easy to find, very close to the airport. We stayed 1 night, 6 people and booked 3 rooms. The beds were comfortable, toilets were clean and all shared storage areas were labelled clearly. Our booking included breakfast (eggs, fruit, juice and cereal).

“Home away from home”

We loved our stay at the Guesthouse and the fact you join the house with max. 3 other rooms/companies, so you can share your findings and stories of the Faröer. Maybe a little planning and flexibility during the meals in the morning and evening is required, since you can stay with approx. 8 guests at once, and there's only one stove and eating table. We stayed for four nights and it felt like we were at home. The WiFi was excellent and the room was spacious and had enough storage space. The room also had a desk. There was also enough space in front of the house to park your (rental) car. The breakfast was basic, but the minimum you would expect; like milk, cereals, eggs and coffee. The location was a huge plus, since it's close to the Airport and a few hot spots from the island, like Múlafossur. We also liked to walk through the neighborhood, via the little stream to the water. It's close by the Airport, but we didn't hear much. Also because there is not much air traffic, I guess.

The bathroom was perfect. The room was very comfortable. The view over Sørvágur was beautiful.

Very close to the airport. Peace and quiet. Eggs, cereal, milk, yogurt and orange juice for breakfast. Enough to get fed. I recommend.

Everything was as expected, the location is right next to the airport, very clean and confortable, it has everything you need for a few days. The bathroom is shared bewteen 2 bedrooms however this is not a problem. It is very good value for money for the Faroe Islands, hard to find a better deal so conveniently located near to major tourist attractions.

“Review of Poul's Airport Guesthouse - pleasant stay.”

Poul's Airport Guesthouse is situated in Sovagur, on a beautiful hill top (with a lovely view) and it is five minutes or so walk away from the main little town, where there is a small supermarket shop as well as a cafe and other little businesses. The accommodation is fairly close to the airport, marina, ferry port, as well as a bus stop (just up the road from the local shop), where there are regular buses that go to the Islands capital of Torshavn. As specified, it is a lovely place to stay. It is self-catering and it has everything you need - a shared kitchen (with everything you need) and a shared bathroom. There is also a cleaner that comes in most days. I stayed here for 7 nights and having explored the Faroe Islands during my stay, I was actually glad I chose this accommodation because of the location and the town is beautiful - it's close to the sea and in the perfect location to especially access various local attractions and various public transport (buses, ferries, boats etc). I did meet Poul, but being busy with his business, I didn't see much of him but he was reachable via mobile, should you have any queries or questions. I met so many lovely, friendly and helpful people (and tourists) in the local area, too. As a solo traveller, I felt very relaxed and safe. Everyone is very welcoming.
