“A cosy, quiet rorbu in a charming, busy fishing port”
The location! Small fishing harbor off the beaten tourist track, magnificent views day and night, close to the most beautiful sites in southern Lofoten, a very good restaurant nearby (Maren Anna), lovely winter walks in the village on either side of the harbor. Cosy interior and comfortable bedding. An efficient stove for long winter nights. Check-in granted as early as 2pm to enable us to arrive before dark. Please note that the agency recommends a 4x4 for winter access to the accommodation, as the last short stretch of road is quite steep. Having an ordinary car, we chose to park before this last stretch (about fifty meters), on the spot recommended for parking during snowstorms, and it was perfect that way (you just have to carry your suitcases a little further, but nothing insurmountable). Shovels available on the path leading to the rorbu for clearing snow.
