Place is very nice and clean. Location is very good.

Two bathrooms, very clean. Gorgeous views. Close to shopping.

We loved the location and the coziness of the townhouse. The house was tidy and clean.

“High Cleaning Fee and Plenty of Ants”

To be fair, I usually avoid places that charge a high cleaning fee, like this place did at $168/ night. I missed this fee when booking so I was already irritated with myself for booking this and not canceling sooner. That being said, the condo was extremely well equipped, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and well laid out and the balconies had excellent views of the inlet. When charging $168 per night, I do feel like that should include some basic housekeeping though. I don't feel like I should be asked to take out the garbage and recycling as was included in the laminated check out instructions left in the kitchen. I also didn't appreciate the ants in the kitchen that we woke up to. When contacted about the ants, this was the direct response from True Key: "I have notified the housekeeping team about the ants; I am sorry I am not able to reduce the housekeeping fee. The ants are an insect that is native to the rain forest in the area and at this time of year they are active. WE do our best to mitigate their impact on the guests but ultimately, we are only able to do so much." I too live in a rain forest and have no issue in mitigating ants in my home. I would not recommend this property in future or a True Key property as didn't really seem motivated to help.

Great location for exploring the island and was beautiful place to stay

“Very disappointed! Felt someone else was given our room so we were given a smaller one . I”

We got the email with the door code while we were driving so couldn’t get the code until we got internet access. Drove to our room and someone else was parked there. Didn’t know where the office was to get code. Finally saw a lady walking who worked there and showed us where the office was. I had booked a deluxe bungalow. We got an email a few days before we arrived saying our suite was #125 and showed no stairs outside. Room we were given was #133 several steps going to main landing and another set of stairs to main level. We were travelling with 2 people in their mid 80’s that found the stairs a challenge. Also we were sent an email that showed a picture of #125 and the living room looked bigger than the room we were given and above the picture it said you have reserved the following property. Also prior to our arrival I phoned Booking.com to speak to someone about our room and got AI they said I would have to speak to our host. I phoned her on a Saturday and had to leave a message and didn’t hear from her, so phoned her again on Sunday and had to leave another message. She never did return my call.

It was great working with Jennifer in the office, she was very accommodating. We had an awesome supper at the West Coast Grill at the Prestige. We had a great kayaking experience at West Coast Outdoor Adventures. We had a great lunch at Route 14 in Sooke and a great breakfast at Cathy's Cafe also in Sooke. We picked up some groceries at the Villages Market in Sooke - it is like home made food like my mother makes.

Clean, good location

We love the comfort and convenience of this location.

Beautiful townhouse with 2 balconies with sea views. Short walk to the jetty where we tool an excursion with Neptune Wildlife Tours. Short drive to Whitty Spit.

Check in info was sent 15 mins late and no answer when I tried to call. Floors were wet and soapy when we arrived.

It was wonderful in almost every way. The decor and layout of the condo was lovely. It was bright & the ocean views, a bit in the distance, were beautiful from both patios!! The place was very well stocked and exceptionally clean. It's a great location for nature & subtlety. Loved this place!! I would return with family and friends for a retreat.

Nice location with view of the water. New vinyl plank flooring throughout so very clean. Lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with local information regarding restaurants and activities/attractions.
