“Beautiful and Modern Vatellina Farmhouse family stay”

Beautiful architecture. Converted from a old farmhouse into a 10 rooms B&B. Surrounded by mountains, alpine farms and away from the buzz of city. Yet just 5 min drive away to the nearer hypermarket. Yes you do need to drive and there is a parking area for your car. Stayed at the Classic Double and the Triple rooms for the 5 of us. Rooms are modern, clean and cosy. They made the room daily too. Comes with daily Italian Breakfast consisting of Croissants, cold cuts, cheese, cakes etc and of course Espresso and Caffe. Most importantly, Breakfast comes with views of the Alps as background. Operated by owner Dino and his small wonderful crews...we stayed 3 nights but started drinking together on the 2nd :p! Beautiful, nice people. Helped us w restaurants recommendations and reservations too. We are already missing the place!

This was our first accommodation in Italy and it was stunning. Very friendly host. Extremely comfortable beds. The breakfast was incredible with multiple, fresh options, beautiful view and peaceful location. Our host also directed us to a delicious trattoria for dinner which was very appreciated and felt like a place the locals would only know of.

This is the most modern stay we enjoyed in Italy. It is built on the site of an old farmhouse and is exceptionally well designed.

“Wake up with the mountains”

This place is a dream! Even though you feel so secluded you're not too far from the town. We used this place as a hub to take a break during our roadtrip and stock up for the Dolomites. The breakfast is great and the quiet ambiance leaves you feeling so serene. We also got to see the lunar eclipse from the shared balcony on the second floor, it was very cool to be able to see the moon come up behind the mountains with its reddish hue.

“Charming stay with amazing views – but not for travellers without a car!”

The place itself is very cute, clean, and decorated in a light contemporary style. Breakfast is okay, traditional Italian: mostly buns, yoghurt, and some cold cuts. The views are absolutely breathtaking. And there are 3 donkeys in the backyard – super cute! 🫏 The hosts don’t really speak English, but it wasn’t a problem. We managed to communicate, and with a few Italian phrases it would be even easier.

“Ultra-modern, in the middle of nowhere”

Place is modern Italian 'chique', if you like that kind of thing, but a little too cold and 'concrety' for my taste. Located in the middle of nowhere, however an easy and convenient location for a quiet stopover. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, he gave me another, better and bigger room, when we discovered that the air conditioning in the original room was not working. Breakfast was good, for example cakes, home made by his mother.

“Essentialist and quality two steps from Sondrio”

Generally well-kept, cosy facility and fairly large room. Breakfast basic, but the products present good. Good value for money. Ample parking space, but beware of sports cars because of the bumpy road.

The B&B is surrounded by beautiful hills and it's a joy to sit on the terrace and take in the view and the sounds of nature. Next door, there is a small farm with donkey and goats, which in my view makes the place even nicer. Architecturally, the place is very modern and polished, it is elegant in a minimalistic, not pretentious way. There is clearly a lot of attention to details, and overall it feels very welcoming. The staff is nice and friendly, we had some special requests and they did their best to satisfy them all. The building is brand new, the rooms are extremely clean and all the equipment was functioning perfectly. Breakfast offers a variety of genuine products, from local cold cuts and cheeses, to pastries, cakes and cereals, and of course coffee and tea. My only regret is that I didn't have a chance to try the wine that they produce, I will have to go back to correct this negligence of mine.

“Lovely B&B on the outskirts of Sondrio”

The host welcomed us like family. Since he has a winery as well he let us taste wine ( more than a taste) also brought out snacks and cheese which was soooo good and appreciated after a long day of driving. Breakfast was continental but very good.

Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Beautiful designed rooms of high quality. Great beds as well. Nice and quiet. Close to an 18 hole golf course and aerodrome.

Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The staff...friends, after just one night, were kind, pleasant and helpful. All perfect!!!
