“Great staff, great room, gorgeous village.”
The accomodation was fresh and clean. The faculties met our needs for a single overnight stay with comfortable bed, modern bathroom, adequate breakfast. We were scheduled to arrive by 6pm. However the motorway had other plans for us and after sitting in the same spot for 3.5 hours we eventually arrived at 9.30pm. Having called ahead the owner was aware and kindly agreed to accommodate our late arrival. This was much appreciated.

It's a very nice hotel , the location is quiet and extremely picturesque. The rooms look freshly renovated and equipped with everything you need. There is a parking lot in the yard. The breakfast was tasty. The staff is helpful. Highly recommend.

We booked this hotel while on the road for 95 euro including breakfast for 2 persons. We did not really have expectations other then good reviews. And they are all true. It's a typical German hotel room. No air-conditioning, but the possibility to just open your windows. It's quiet enough outside. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was simple, but nice. Filter coffee like at my mother. The village of Sommerhaus is great too. Medieval village with city walls. Good restaurants in the neighbourhood too. Great place to stay.

What a lovely hotel in the small village. Secure parking for our motorbikes. Great breakfast and the lady gave us a list of the restaurants that were open that evening. All within walking distance of the hotel
