Loved our stay here. Excellent location. Everything we needed in the apartment. Lovely host. Would definitely return.

“The most basic possible accommodation.”

From the property information, we expected a quaint and modest but authentic little property run by locals. We didn't expect luxury but just a sense of hospitality. In fact, upon entering, we realized that it was the most basic of basic accommodations, extremely "no frills", exuding quite a sad, spartan atmosphere. I am not sure what type of traveller it is geared towards but it is definitely not for families. There is no sense of wsrmth or hospitality from the man who greets the guests. The bathroom, which had a strong smell of garlic and cigarette smoke, had no towel rail. It did have toilet paper but quite out of reach (no toilet paper holder) so we kept it on the bathroom sink. All of us decided to forgo showers for the one night we were staying. There were plugs in the walls but none of them positioned near any furniture, so you could not rest your phone on something, for example, while it charged. We ended up plugging chargers in an already overburdened extension cord in front of the tv. It was also the only place to plug in the kettle. The tv worked but the screen gave only a blue picture, no other colours. One of the 4 coffee mugs provided (along with 4 satchets of instant coffee) had remnants of something, porridge maybe, encrusted around the rim of the cup. There was no sponge or dishwashing liquid so we decided not to use that mug. Overall, we couldn't wait to get out the next morning.

Central location, good price, nice and authentic room. There is a garden where to sit in the evening or at the breakfast.

Place in the centre of the city. Easy to find. The owner is nice, although he doesn't speak English. The room is big enough.

Nice location and nice house. It's all a little bit old fashion but it shouldn't be a problem. Small patio and we were in the apartment for 4 persons even we were 2 and we paid for 2. Really big place. Towells and soup included also 4 coffees. There is a small fridge.

Nice place to stay! A very unique traditional house. The location of that house is perfect. Once you step out of the house on a few minutes is the center of Sombor.
