The atmosphere is very nice at Edgar's. He is a super friendly and caring owner. It is a great place to feel at home on a journey through Sweden. The hotel has a perfect location in Sölvesborg. The room was nice with everything we needed. The breakfast was good too.

‘Hotell Edgar’ is a wonderful quirky mix of different things. When it comes to the guest rooms, the hotel is like an Old Swedish Lady who sticks to her style. Now meet Ken, your Canadian host, heart and soul of the place, wonderfully attentive, ensuring nobody lacks anything, providing tips for walking and cycling trips and even taking the time for a really good conversation. He rocks. Breakfast comes with delicious homemade jams, which I spread way too thickly on my toast because I liked them so much. Everything was exactly right and… I haven't even tried the famous pizza yet. Loved to stay here and will definitely be back when I visit family in Sweden.

“Fun comfy stay in Sölvesborg”

This is a fun, functional stay with a great host and location. Not to far from the station and close enough to the main square for hot dogs and cakes (try the chilli whip). I stayed in the single room with its own bathroom which was perfect for a lone traveller.

We loved pretty much everything about this place.
