“A very pleasant stay in a quiet hotel in the center of Solleftea”

The location is perfect - central, and it's a 3-minute walk to the bus/train station. The breakfast was nice. Also, there is free tea/coffee/hot chocolate and water available for free 24/7 in the dining area. My room was clean, cosy, bright and offered lovely views of the river at the back of the hotel. It had an armchair and a coffee table, and a desk and a chair, too. The bed was comfortable. My stay started with a little hiccup as I had not received any information about access codes prior to my check-in. I arrived at the locked hotel entrance and had to ring the number written on the door. Luckily a member of the staff (Johan) answered the phone and gave me instructions on how to get in. The reception is located on the 4th floor of the building, so it is a bit unusual. However, everything went smooth after that. Johan was very kind, showed me the common spaces and was very helpful. I felt welcome and comfortable. Johan also told me about a discount for the hotel guests in one of the nearby restaurants. I met him several times throughout my stay and he was always friendly and helpful. On my last day, the staff arranged for me to leave my luggage in the hotel after the check-out, even though it looked like it was not what they usually offered. I was very grateful for this act of kindness. The hotel offers really good services for the price of the stay. I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel and I am planning to stay there again on my future trips to Solleftea.

“Complete scam! Avoid at alll costs”

Complete scam! Booked and requested an arrival time between 17 and 18h, which they confirmed. I arrive at 17u30, the door is locked, I ring the bell several times, nothing, I try to call them, straight to voice mail every time, I e-mail them, no answer! I decide to look for another place. Around 22h I contact booking to explain what happened and to ask for a refund. The next morning I wake up to an e-mail from the hotel that was send at 22u41 with a code to enter the building! No ‘we’re sorry’, no refund offered just a standard e-mail with a doorlock code. What crazy person is going to wait outside of a hotel that doesn’t respond for over 5 hours until they get a code for the door? I e-mail them again to ask for a refund. Never got a response and never got a refund. The audacity of these people is beyond me and they should be deeply ashamed. Avoid this ‘hotel’ at all costs. I paid 92€ for nothing but a headache.

location was good . facilities were amazing. the room size was big with a nice kitchen.staff were responsive. it was cold as the apartment was in the ground floor, additional blankets were provided
