“Fantastic value for money, a true little gem”

Perfection in every aspect of this short one night stay, but defo coming back. Full pet friendly which is a deal breaker for me. Beautiful big room, clean, nicely decorated with much attention, room is spacious with a terrace. Bathroom is big and functional. I also love it that I can open the windows in the room. Location is perfect, ample on site parking and a cute restaurant with fantastic food and wine downstairs. Staff is amazing! Bravo for all!

I’ve been coming back for years and it never disappoints. The staff is always helpful, everything is spotlessly clean, and the place has a warm, family-like atmosphere. There’s convenient parking in the courtyard and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended!

“Great small village”

The room was cleaned, had a separate bathroom. There was also a balcony. You can do self check in meaning you can come whenever you want. We did not notice but if you want on the corridor there are tea, you can use those. There are 2 different set of breakfast.

The organization from booking to departure is excellent. All the staff are professional and helpful. The quality of the dishes, connected to the territory, is high as well as the care put into the preparation. The ideal base to discover an area rich in history, nature, culture and typical products

The hotel is located on the square, we had no free time to explore the surroundings. The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are spacious and the whole hotel including the restaurant is well renovated. We were very happy with the menu choices in the restaurant. Excellent served breakfast with a choice of two menus. We would love to return.

A good base to visit different towns in lake garda with out to much driving

First and foremost, the staff at Solferino deserves a special mention. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, offering helpful recommendations and always being available to assist with any needs. A la carte breakfast includes sweet and savoury options to cater to every palate. The availability of private parking was also a significant advantage. Solferino’s location is perfect, situated close to Sirmione and a variety of charming towns along the east coast of Lake Garda. Our room was cleaned every day, maintaining a refreshing and tidy environment throughout our stay. Additionally, the in-house restaurant was a culinary delight! The menu offered a fantastic range of options, and the quality of the food was top-notch - you must try meatballs with polenta! Overall, I highly recommend Solferino to anyone seeking a delightful getaway!

Superb hotel, room was really clean, the owner is more than friendly. Price is really fair. Safe locked backyard parking. It exceeded our expectations! We will stay there again next time we go to Garda Lake.

great location in Solferino with local bars and restaurants . We ate in the onsite restaurants which had great service and food.Comfortable room with aircon and secure parking for motorcycles on site.

Everything was perfect 👌 What a hidden gem in a wonderful village! Excellent breakfast, easy check in, plenty of parking spaces, pet friendly, cool rooms (even though we stayed in August) and above all wonderful staff. Both staff at the reception and breakfast area were more than amazing, thank you so much for making our stay enjoyable.

This location combines everything and is a charming paradise — a true discovery! The property is situated in a really lovely village (Solferino - with history of Napoleon battle) and where you can go on nice walks, explore the various vineyards, and eat at the trattoria (Locanda all’avanguardia) which serves delicious homemade food and a variety of locally produced goods. We had a wonderful experience, and the staff was very kind and eager to show you about the area. In addition, there is a little grocery store where you can get goods created locally and by the trattoria, such as olive oil, buffalo stew, cakes, and a delicious corner of local spirits/wines like gin, vermouth, grappa. We cherished it! Thanks a lot to the whole team ! We will come back for sure 😜
