The hotel provided a good dinner, which is convenient when you don't feel like going out after a day of skiing. The hotel also organises transport for guests to the ski lift in the morning, which is important as the road to the lift is uphill. The hotel staff are very friendly and always ready to help.

It was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinners were home cooked and delicious

The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance of the town centre and gondola. The free shuttle service in the morning was a bonus, as was the cheap locker space hire. The room was comfortable and the bar and restaurant were nice - the half board option was great. I would definitely stay here again

“Fabulous stay in Soldeu”

A very warm and friendly atmosphere. Half board was perfect for a ski holiday, food was very tasty. Happy hour and the Wednesday live music was great entertainment. My family stayed elesewhere in town but all came down and wished they had stayed here. Rooms were exactly what you would need. Don't expect luxury, but exceptional for the value. Comfy beds, cupboard space, good lighting and very clean ensuites. Other guests were also very happy and were repeat sayers which is always a good sign. Car runs up to the gondola was a lovely bonus that I didn't expect too

“Perfect weekend up the mountain”

The room was lovely with a double bed in one room and 2 singles in the other room, very traditional with wooden beams we had a perfect weekend. The food was very nice with 3 options to cater for all, we had a bonus of live music from the owner and his band which made the Saturday evening very entertaining.

“Perfect hotel for everyone”

Love this hotel we have stayed numerous times great location, we have had many different rooms in this hotel which are all perfect for ski trips. The catered for option works really well breakfast and evening meal good simple food for everyone to enjoy. The staff are very helpful and lifts up to the gondola if you don’t want to walk 8 minutes.

“First class for a 2 star hotel”

I would highly recommend this owner run chalet. I expected younger hosts, who rightfully so have Thursday off and you cater for yourself. There was an excellent buffet style breakfast plus a served evening meal every night. Happy hour 6-7 every night, live music during happy hour on a Wednesday. For children there is table football by the log burner, which is crazy in Andorra. Mike, his wife and staff were the perfect hosts. I am planning a trip same time next year as it coincides with Kings, our 12th night. I was too late on arrival so a fresh baguette and crisps were placed in my room. There is a daily free shuttle to the gondola which is 1000m up the hill into Soldeu.

All the staff were really nice and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The bar and restaurant area was a lovely place to unwind after a day of skiiing. A great place to stay and will be back

Trust and friendliness of staff. Offer of a decent included in price breakfast. Very fair price. Felt like a well run place. Quiet at night despite being near road.
