“Amazing place in the middle of nature”

Katja is an amazing host. She was very welcoming to us and takes time to give you tips about the surroundings. The breakfast she prepares every morning is delicious with meat from their own farm. We also loved the cakes. There is a big garden in front of the house near the river where you can sit very nicely, there are a lot of things for kids to play with as well. The room was cute and cosy and very clean. The surroundings are amazing if you like nature. Don't hesistate to come to this place.

Absolutely everything was great. Very clean. They have a lovely outdoor area across the street just right to the river.

Štiftar house is the perfect place to stay to discover the area. Our room was very clean and comfortable, the view from the window was stunning, breakfast was also great and an added bonus was that we were able to bring our dog along. There is easy parking right next to the house. I have to call out Katja’s flexibility and hospitality, she is an amazing host. It looked like a great place for families too. I would definitely stay here again.

“Wake up in the hearth of Slovenian Alps”

Very good location: close to trails + supermarket and pub 200-300m. Perfect accommodation to wake up and go hiking and discovering Slovenia. Nothing special needed or missing. There is a garden with seets to relax in the evening or breakfasting. Katja, the owner, is very sympathetic. We didn't try breakfast.

Beautiful property. Katya is an excellent, generous and kind host. Property is very clean. Well situated for Logan Valley and walks and riding the Panoramic Road. There’s a beautiful spot opposite the farmhouse where you can enjoy a picnic by the river.

Everything was excellent, the hosts are excellent, kind people, the food is perfect (local), the place itself is in beautiful nature, peaceful, quiet. We will definitely come to this place again. Any recommendation

“So invigorating”

Great location for Logarska valley visitors, at the foot of the mighty mount Raduha. Unit(s) oustandingly clean ( scent of freshness genuinely felt about it/them ), bright (two windows each, blinds included), nicely furbished and furnished (light wood, Slovenian/Scandinavian style). High quality beds, matrasses and bedlinen feel good. Bathroom fixtures meticulously mounted and perfectly maintained. Small fridge comes so handy. Very kind, hospitable, helpful, engaged hostess Katja. Answers your beforehand questions without delay, adds recommendations on the spot. Taking a (buffet) breakfast was a good decision. The hosts' strip of land across from the house, right by the stream, comes as a real gem. Your senses, presumably taken for vacation from a big city, immediately get captured by the creek's burbling and a gorgeous pine wood and Alpine peaks scenery. From the hammocks tied between trees.

Katja is a lovely, friendly, knowledgeable host who is happy to share local knowledge and advice. We had an amazing start to our travels around Slovenia. She gave advice about cycling around Solcava before we arrived and gave advice on walks in Logar valley and the best route onwards to Lake Bled. Solcava itself is beautiful!! So far this is my favourite location in Slovenia and I would definitely advise to visit. The property has everything you should need two large beds and bedroom and kitchen unit. It was perfect for what we needed.

Very thoughtful and friendly host and her family. Provided clear instructions and gave tips to visit the surroundings with the family. Kids enjoyed the idyllic playground on the property (with a little zip line and cute ducks) by the river. Fabolous Slovenian breakfast. Comfy beds, clean rooms. We highly recommend it and will definitively come back!
