We had a nice stay at the tourist house and loved the gardens around so you can sit outside to relax. Beds are more in the hard side (typically), rooms are spacious and bathroom was clean (with little flies, but okay)

The accommodation looked very nice from the outside, with a green lawn where children can play. Parking spaces were available, and the rooms are quite spacious. The price was also fair – overall, a pleasant stay.

“Relaxing family stay”

We are a family of four (kids 5 & 1 years old). We drove from Muscat to Sohar and spent 3 nights here. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The family suite had a large living room and the whole place was very clean. It was nice that there are tables and seats under a shade in front of the house. The playground was the highlight for the kids. There are several restaurants (many are called coffee shops) nearby. In the evening, we went picknicking at the beach where the locals also went. I saw a sandwich stand which is open in the evening at the beach too. The atmosphere was really nice. Some mosquitoes came through the bathroom, so we kept the bathroom door closed.
