Me and my grandmother both said that this was our best stay out of the once we visited. I think the fact that it was an old, but well maintained house and area, with a soul contributed a lot. The water, the flowers. Truly recommend! It is also fairly close to the train station Södertälje Syd with easy access to Stockholm for those that wish (though we had a car this time).

Everything was lovely. Good restaurant a short distance around the shoreline.

The old manor is beautifully renovated and the interior is so nice, clean and cozy with many amenities. The shared living room and the breakfast kitchen makes you feel at home instantly, and the hosts Lina and Karl were so lovely. The homemade breakfast was outstanding and of high quality. We received many hints for what to do on our last day in Sweden on the way to Stockholm. Thank you so much for everything.!

Although Sodatalje is industrial this beautiful and traditional hotel is situated in a quiet and peaceful area. The bus and train connections are within walking distance. We made several local trips into the centre and further afield. We were treated to a most comfortable and relaxing stay by the host and his team. Breakfast was well presented and offered a variety of choice. The nearby restaurant served a good quality menu in a relaxing setting. We felt welcomed by everyone, especially the host who went out of his way to ensure we had the best experience. Thank you so much for the lift to the station, introducing us to the local area and use of the rowing boat! We really didn’t want to go home!

The property is in a stunning location with a view across a lake. Our host was amazing, even took us to the railway station so we could catch the train into the city. He made our stay even more memorable. Great breakfast too.

Each room is uniquely furnished and themed and the entire hotel makes you feel like you are a character in an Agatha Christie novel, in the days when hotel guests would gather to the salon for after dinner drinks and reading or playing cards. So if you are tired of the cookie-cutter chain hotels, give Torpa a try. Excellent service and great breakfast with a nice variety for every taste. As a plus, you get to enjoy the breakfast in a nice salon with a view of the small-boat harbor next to the hotel.

Location was Stunning ! Quiet and accessible. Extremely well connected to Scania HQ and all other plants of Scania in Sodertalje. It felt like a vacation the moment you stepped back from work in the evening !
