“A home away from home - we didn't want to leave but needed to co tinue on our Camino ti Santiago de Compostela.”

The location was spectacular and everything about the property seemed 4-5 star! The attention to detail was amazing - three different types of pillows, packets of sweets available and a working mini bar, a full range of toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast was full of local and home made delicacies and was enormous! But the best part was the proprietor Soraya who went out of her way to help me with a personal situation. She's a truly lovely person.

Outstanding hospitality from Soraya. The rooms were delightful, with amazing views over the bridge and river Sil. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was at a pace and time of your choosing. Dinner and accompanying drinks were delicious, as was the breakfast (what a choice) - all cooked by Soraya, who has a very special sello too. If you are on the Camino Invierno and want to sample the best the province has to offer in food, drink and hospitality then look no further.

“Amazing!”

We were upgraded to the apartment with view to the river, which a pleasant surprise and it was beautiful! We requested for a breakfast with room service which was phenomenal, you won't be hungry believe me. Beds were warm and comfortable. Parking was accross the street and there was plenty of space when we arrived. Staff were kind and helpful at all times. We recommend this place to everyone and would come back!

“Athmospheric - special place -amazing host”

A beautiful little apartment with a gorgeous terrace facing the river gorge. Extraordinary view. The apartment was fitted with anything i needed. Being christmas day the restaurant was closed but the host made sure i found a delicious dinner, Traditional food i suppose and really tasty. I wish i stayed longer but i had to move forward on my walk. i would definitely rebook. For a couple it would be an idyllic stop when visiting the region.

Stunning. The welcome here, the evening meal, the apartment, all absolutely wonderful. We couldn’t fault any of the facilities, location, staff. Wonderful.

We had a lovely stay here. Our host was very friendly, gracious and accommodating. She made sure that everything was in order. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast with every attention to detail. The rooms are very nice too.

Simply everything at it's best

I loved absolutely everything about this gem of a boutique hotel. Soraya demonstrated her attention to details - from her warm welcome, the beautiful room over looking the Sobradelo bridge, the comfy bedding and the easy comfort throughout. To say nothing of her terrific cooking. We savoured both her dinner and breakfast menus. Everything in the room and bathroom worked perfectly. Good wifi reception. She went the extra mile and arranged a taxi for us because of the heavy rain and winds. This gem of a hotel was a welcome haven for two weary camino pilgrims fighting colds and nasty weather. Thank you Soraya! We should be sufficiently fortified to continue our camino. A rainbow appeared as we were leaving.

The food was fantastic. They actually went shopping just for us when they found out we are vegetarians. Then put a spread of food out that evening that is some of the best we have had in a long time. Fresh home grown lettuce, tomatoes and awesome cheese and wine...
