The hosts are very kind and helpful. The homemade dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious! The room was clean and comfortable. They welcomed our dog with open arms. The view, the environment and the peace are truly unique and unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

“Magical”

We went on a week-long road trip through the Balkans and stayed in some really nice places, but this beats them all - by far. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. On arrival, we were offered drinks (of various strengths 😉), and the dinner was to die for - the best meal we had all week. The same goes for breakfast. The house has an amazing story too- just ask them about it. The location is absolutely idyllic. We will definietly be back!

This is an absolute gem! The place is just a paradise, and the hosts are the kindest, most lovely people! They welcomed us with a hug and a couple of shots of plum. The cabin is next to the river, which was perfect for swimming and enjoying nature. The terrace is perfect to get the sun and read while listening to the river. If you are looking for the perfect romantic getaway, this is your place! Our amazing hosts also offered to cook for us for a really good price. For dinner, we had fresh fish, potatoes and salad. For breakfast we had eggs, a platter of cheese and meat, bread and hand-made plum jam.

“So wonderful, I didn’t want to leave!”

What an amazing place with the most wonderful hosts. If you are looking for a stop-over on the way south, or just a holiday in a beautiful part of Croatia, this gorgeous hotel will provide a unique, local experience. The location is just phenomenal, right on the river. The hosting is exceptionally warm and welcoming. I absolutely did not want to leave! The rooms have not photographed so well - our room was much more modern than it looks. Good, renovated bathrooms. Very comfortable beds with such lovely bedding. I didn’t want to get out of bed and we delayed our departure simply to enjoy the comfort, listing to the river. If you come across this gem, book without hesitation - it’s a totally different experience and one you will always remember.

“One of the best place you will ever stay”

I don’t know where to start… everything! This one in a millions! Absolutely stunning. The hosts are wonderful and so welcoming. They renovated and build this place over the years. The house is beautiful, old Timbers and artefacts from the past taking you on a journey to old time. Yet the room and facility are modern and offer all the comfort and facilities of the modern world. The location is something else. The house is by a beautiful river, with waterfall, plants and birds and the view over the country side is stunning. On the deck you can enjoy a drink or food above the water running clear few meter below your feet. The breakfast could have feed an army and the diner of home made sausage was simple but excellent. I was sad to go. And to top it all it is few kilometres from the Plitvice lakes national park. And a sauna is currently build, all by hand and reclaimed timber! Thank you again for looking after me so well.

The friendliest hosts ever - it feels like one is visiting family in the most amazing venue around. Right on the river with the sound of nature in your ears. Swimming in the river and just sitting under the patio was amazing. The dinner and breakfast was amazing - again, one feels part of the family.

The location is perfect, next to the beautiful waterfall and the house has a private beach. Our hosts were very welcoming and the food they made was amazing. All in all, a perfect battery recharge in the most beautiful nature. We're definitely coming again soon!
