The location can't be beat. Close to river, restaurants, waterfall and swimming. Seemed clean. Host was very nice. Other reviews mentioned her lack of English but she explained the basics to us in English and I used Translate to ask any questions.

“Outstanding!”
The location is outstanding! You would pay $100's of EUR$ per night for this location. The owner is wonderful. Friendly and very welcoming. Shared kitchen has everything you need to make meals. Otherwise she will make you breakfast for extra cost. Bed was two singles joined together, but very comfortable mattress and pillows. Lots of linen/ towels provided. Shared bathroom functional with separate additional WC so never felt inconvenience. Washing machine on site. Short walk and you are swimming with the locals or eating out at a variety of restaurants.

The main advantage is the location right on the river! It's very picturesque! In the evening or morning, you can sit on your veranda right near the water and listen to the sound of the small waterfall. The furnishings are quite simple, but everything you need is provided. The apartment is quite cozy. It was clean and quite. It is good value of money!

Friendly and helpful owner/staff. Even helped to brush off the thick snow covering the car in the morning. Location was good as the river is just round the corner with a good pizza store across the road.

“Comfortable”
The host was great, she made us feel very welcome even if we did not speak the same language. The rooms were cosy, the kitchen was easily accessible. You will fall asleep with the sound of water. It's very well placed in Rastoke.

“A gem of a place in the very centre of Rastoke.”
A wonderful apartment in the very heart of the beautiful village of Rastoke. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bedroom satisfied our needs perfectly. I was travelling with my 2 grandchildren. The host was charming and very welcoming on my arrival. My advice, though, is to go with cash ready to pay her on arrival. While I simply was not able to retrieve cash from the bank until much later during my stay, I know that I caused her unnecessary worry regarding payment, poor lady.
