Located off Interstate 10, this motel is 7 minutes’ drive from Central Slidell and The Crossing Mall. It features a seasonal, outdoor pool, and rooms with wood floors and cable TV. A work desk and an en suite bathroom are standard in every simply furnished room at the Motel 6 New Orleans - Slidell. All rooms have access to Wi-Fi internet and include a telephone with free local calls. A launderette is located on site and fax/copy services are offered in the lobby. Central New Orleans is 40 minutes’ drive south of the motel. Honey Island Swamp Tours are 5 miles away.

“It was adequate.”
I can only say it was adequate. The staff obviously did not like their job. The floor was so filthy that my feet were dirty after only a few minutes. I would not take a shower as the shower floor was so grungy. All in all not a good experience. My next port of call was Beaumont Texas, a Best Western. Therefore I had a good comparison. They were much better.

we had not realized it was Mardi Gras weekend, and did not reserve ahead! Other hotels were sort of price gouging, rooms over $300+. We found a clean, happy, basic room at a reasonable price here.

We got a room here for Mardi Gras because all of the rooms were booked in New Orleans the room was clean kinda small though but it was very affordable

“Horrible”
The room was dirty..there was no WiFi…no microwave in room…no refrigerator in room. We were put next door to a room where the people there were very loud. Underneath of us was a guest with a large dog. Who barked all day and night. This was the worst stay at a hotel I’ve ever experienced. I won’t ever stay at another motel 6.

“Disaster. Will never come back to this location.”
Rooms were filthy dirty bed bugs everywhere. A/C not working correctly. Overall dirty rooms. Staff did nothing to satisfy me or seemed to care about the rooms. Very rude office employee. Locked office door in the middle of the day had to talk throa little window. Will never stay here again.
