Beautiful location

The small huts are clean and nice. 2 single beds, a small bathroom. The common house/area is large. Self-service breakfast is a bit limited in choices for a vegetarian.

Loved the peaceful location, incredible views, had the whole place to ourselves, amazing chefs kitchen with all the amenities and free to use, breakfast was plentiful, rooms were very warm with underfloor heating, lovely on the feet but almost too warm at night.

What a wonderfull place to stay. We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are big and comfortable, the beds were really really comfortable! The owner is such a nice and friendly gentleman. What a pleasure it was to meet him! The kitchen is nice and big and you can use anything you need. In the fridge was everything you need for breakfast. We would absolutely recommend this lodge to anybody!

“Great property in the countryside of Eastern Iceland”

Loved that we got to stay outside of the nearest town a little bit. This helped us get to see the northern lights during our stay! Bathroom was large and shower was good. Beds were comfortable and great parking for all of the units. We saw no staff while we were here but this was no problem as the property manager gave us all the instructions needed by message through booking.com.

Superb location! We were very well welcomed by the owner and his friends. Since it was low season for fishing, and there was no extra staff, we had a restaurant kitchen at our beck and call. The room has a nice view of the rear garden and the ensuite bathroom was clean and new.

Nice place with lovely views. Good, clean rooms with a nice bathroom. We could use the big kitchen and other facilities in the main room (which is a restaurant or big group accomodation in the summer I think). Road was 20 km dirt road of good quality so no problem at all to come to this place. All was self check in and we were the only ones around the whole time. That was a very cool experience. Spotted some animals.

Free sauna (outside the room), clean private room for 2 persons. Far from city but accessible by car. Free coffee and tea. can use their kitchen for cooking.

The hotel is beautifully located, has a great style, the owner is very helpful. The rooms are quite small, but there is a area available for all the guests which is really well equipped and comfortable.
