The cozy self check in Hotel Skoga is just 5 minutes walk from the spectacular Skogafoss Waterfall situated at the foot of the Eyjafjallajökull glacier. Skogar is perfectly placed for exciting outdoor adventures and exploring the stunning landscape of Southern Iceland. 12 Well furnished and cosy rooms all include private facilities and feature simple but warmly decorated furnishings. There are many thrilling activities for the adventurous guest. Book a snowmobile tour on Myrdals glacier, try a super jeep tour or ice climbing. Alternatively guests may choose to take long walks, horseback riding or visit nearby Dyrhólaey ocean cliffs which is a haven for birdwatchers.

“Great location, nice hot tub, good breakfast”
The location was fantastic. It is near Skogafoss (waterfall) and we had the good opportunity to see it early in the morning without any tourists. Also the hot tub was very nice after the day of exploring Iceland. Very good breakfast is included in the price. Tea and coffee are available in the lobby free of charge.

Breakfast is good. If we have chicken is included in Breakfast it will be good. The location of the hotel is near to the falls and its excellent.

The staff were brilliant - let us change the date of our booking last minute, took our breakfast order and chatted about local culture. The hot tub was lovely and we had it all to ourselves. Sauna was cute but cold - we decided we were too tired to wait for it to heat up so we didn't ask them to. Decking outside so nice to walk around barefoot between facilities. The location is good - it felt remote, with a field behind and unobstructed view of the hills. It's a five minute walk to the river and ten minutes to the waterfall itself. I wish we'd been able to stay for longer and get some proper hikes in! Coffee machine / hot chocolate / tea and herbal tea selection with chocolates next to this (cute touch!). We enjoyed our breakfast :)

Excellent staff and very accommodating to my allergies at breakfast. Very good location walking distance to Skogafoss. Very clean and nice room. Easy check in. Good communication.

“Ideal location for a one night stay on our driving holiday”
Ideal location for our driving holiday. Self check in was great and there was a free tea/ coffee machine in the lobby for everyone to use. There was a hot tub that worked. We were also supplied with dressing gowns for hot tub/ sauna use.

The location was perfect, right beside the ring road and waterfall. Self check in possibility if arriving late. Hotel was quiet, small and cosy. Coffee all the time available. This was the only accommodation during our trip that offered warm breakfast - bacon and scrambled eggs. Recommending!
