A very nice campsite. In a picturesque location. Clean and large rooms with a view of the fjord. We really enjoyed it. It's a place you'll want to return to again and again.

Fabulous stay. First, the location, at the head of the fjord, was breathtaking. The views from the apartment and balcony need to be seen to be believed. The apartment itself was very comfortable and clean with loads of space. Lots of new items such as furniture and cooking utensils. We would have appreciated a microwave and washing machine in the apartment but not a massive inconvenience.

I loved the location at the end of the fjord. Truly unique and amazing view. I also like the young man who helped us get into our room, very friendly.

The view was breathtaking. The apartment was immaculate and pleasantly furnished.

Hands-down the best place I stayed during a road trip through Norway - location, amenities, self check-in, price/quality ratio, views - all can’t be beaten. Returned again for an extra night, as it was worth to adjust itinerary for it.

1. Pre set heating is a sauna. Bathroom floor practically caused burnings. Takes 3h with all windows open to cool the place. 2. The houses are so close together that I could watch the neighbours instagram reels. 3. The upstairs sleep spots are practically unreachable, the ladder is moving around and you have to squeeze through a tiny gap to get there, so definitely not for 5 adults

“Skjolden resort”

The resort is located in the beautiful surroundings of the small town of Skjolden. Our apartment was the smallest one on the second floor, accessible by an outdoor staircase, but it was still very spacious. There is also a terrace with beautiful views of the Sognefjord. At night, it’s extremely quiet you can even hear the gentle sound of the water. The off-season price was reasonable. Parking is easy, with plenty of spaces right next to the apartment. The location is calm and perfect for relaxation or trips around the area. Heating can be adjusted as needed, and the kitchenette is fairly well equipped. Overall, we had a great stay. We would definitely return or recommend this place. The manager was very kind and helpful.

The location was incredible. The house stood on top of a fjord with an incredible view and easy access to many interesting places. The apartment was very big and well equipped and we absolutely loved our stay. Couldn´t have been better.

Best location I’ve been to in Norway so far! Staff were wonderful, accomodating and considerate. Accomodation was generous and plentiful. Close to everything you need in Skjolden and some of the best hikes of my life!
