Tip to park near the hotell, from E4 ignore the sign and continue to the next tarmac road , turn in here and then the first right. You end up by a parking with reception dead on and more parking to the left, why this isn't signposted is anyone's guess , Also if arriving not to late drop them a message and ask if they have dinner that day, seems they run a simple dinner they unfortunately do not advertise in any way Nice and simple hotell , it is run by the church as I understand but it is not overly religious, while they do have their own chapel etc. It isn't in anyway uncomfortable for non believers in my view , while there are some it isn't pampered by crusifixes etc, your average Bavarian Guesthouse could challenge them and win such duel Except for no ventilation in bath comfortable and clean , great breakfast ,, for the price paid it is very good , you also receive a small free snack and a carbonated water , nice touch As location is also great I would certainly stay again , near but not do near E4 as to cause disturbing Nice area also for shorter walks and even has a beach nearby

“Nice place to rest and relax”

It was easter. The hotel was quite empty. It was great. Really quiet, we could make use of the kitchen and the living room too. The "church" symbols are not as prominent was some reviews suggested.

Breakfast was excellent, the room had everything we needed, and if anything was missing there was an accessories room from which one could borrow everything one might need.

The location is OK, not too far from the main south-north road from Malmö to Stockholm, but does require a car. It is a pension-style place, probably used quite a lot for things like youth camps. There is a lake nearby and in general it is a nice countryside location. The room was quiet and I slept well, and there are "common rooms" with TV, some books etc. There is a small shop next to the reception, selling local products (berry juices etc), which is a nice touch. The price/quality ratio was good

This hotel is some four minutes away from all the noise etc out by a lake. Nice facilities without elevators etc. Really peaceful. Breakfast and lunch was delicious. Will visit you again

“Exceptional service”

I felt extremely well cared for at a time of year where they don't have many guests due to the nearby National Park services being closed (although the NP can be accessed) as it is no winter destination. Although the restaurant was closed in the evenings on this weekend before Xmas where they have mainly local guests for Xmas lunches, Rianne went out of her way to make sure I got dinner (twice) left in the fridge in the hallway kitchen to heat up in the microwave. Both times with starter, main course and desert. The hallway kitchen also had tea and coffee facilities to be used at all times. The room was very nice with a large bathroom. Everything was clean and fresh. Big shoutout and thank you to Rianne who looked after me so well!
