Quiet with fantastic view

The accomodation is an ideal size for 2-4 people, with parking, facilities for cooking, and a living space to relax/eat. The sauna and cold plunge are fantastic - especially if you've just had a bug day walking/hiking in the area. The location is a short drive or walk to the amenities in Skei. The host is also responsive and was helpful with requests.

“Great Location, Stunning Views – But a Few Letdowns”

The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, which made our arrival and check-in process very smooth. The location is fantastic – nestled among the mountains with breathtaking views all around. It’s a peaceful, picturesque setting that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen is fairly well-equipped and has most of what you’d need to cook during your stay. However, a toaster would’ve been a useful addition for us. One of the highlights was definitely the sauna – it was spotless, perfectly heated, and a real treat to unwind in after a day of exploring. That said, there were a few issues that affected our overall experience: Persistent Damp Smell: From the moment we stepped in, we were hit by a noticeable damp odour. While there were no visible signs of damp, the smell lingered throughout the stay, even after airing out the property. Toilet Seat: The seat was broken and had been taped up as a temporary fix. While not a huge issue, it’s something that should have been properly repaired beforehand. Cleanliness Concerns: Some of the pans hadn’t been properly cleaned. Several pieces of furniture were quite worn – the dining table was peeling, the sofa had a burn mark, and the nightstands had visible oil stains. Most concerning was finding an unused condom left behind in the bedroom – a clear sign that the cleaning had been rushed or not done thoroughly. --- Overall: We did enjoy our stay thanks to the location, views, and sauna. But with a bit more attention to maintenance and cleanliness, this property could easily offer a much better guest experience. The potential is definitely there – it just needs a bit more care.

Loved the modern apartment. First time we had a Sauna in the living room kitchen area!! Really clean and also great to be able to use the jacuzzi in the evening after a long Roadtrip.

The house is nicely located, nearby Jølster lake and not too far from Bøyabreen glacier. It has nice views from the sundeck over the mountains. The sauna is beautiful. The beds were good and the house was clean. There is a jacuzzi, right on the porch, which you can rent for a surcharge.

Excellent sauna, heated with wood, large sauna room, 5 people feel very comfortable. Hot tub is great for 4-5 people. Sauna, hot tub very good location, bath under the roof it is good. It is very significant when this type of sauna and hot tub are generally in one place, it is rare that these two things, sauna and hot tube are together. Great for children, there is plenty of space for a family of 5. Some small things in the kitchen would need additions and changes-update. Thanks
