Overview
Set in Skarsvåg, Norway’s northernmost settlement, this camping site offers cottage accommodation just 2 km from the iconic Kirkeporten rock. Guests can enjoy scenic hikes under the midnight sun or a boat trip from Skårsvåg’s harbour. With a variety of styles, Kirkeporten Camping offers cottages with simple pine interiors. Each comes with a cooking hob and fridge and some have private bathroom facilities, while others have access to shared bathrooms in the service building. The village of Honningsvåg is 20 km to the south and has a shop for groceries. Kirkeporten Camping has a small café on site with an à la carte menu featuring local specialities. There is also an on-site kiosk selling basic groceries. Diving tours, fishing trips and other activities can be organised through a partner company. Guests can also explore the area independently, with Nordkapp, the northernmost tip of Europe, just 12 km away.

“Excellent cabin and worth the stay.”
We really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room for just the 2 of us, and felt really cosy and was warm. Good shower. Nice and quiet and easy to park next to your own cabin. Ideal location for visiting NordKapp. We even got to see the Northern Lights while there.

“Stay with reindeers”
It was a blast! We had reindeers around the cabin! The cabin was spacious and warm. Good place to cook a dinner and sleep. Clean. Perfect stay in NordKapp. Only regret is that we had just one night there, we will go back there.

A lovely little cabin in a truly unique location—the northernmost point in Norway and also in Europe! Cozy, clean, and perfect for a peaceful retreat surrounded by stunning Arctic nature. A memorable experience for anyone seeking something off the beaten path.
