The kindness of the owner and all the staff. He made breakfast for us at 7am as we had to stay ar the airport at 7.30 (when, in fact, breakfast starts at 8am). Food was delicious! And they also offer free transportation to and from the airport.

Our stay at Skardu Saraye Hotel & Resort was excellent from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making our stay very relaxing. The food was also outstanding, with a great variety of delicious options and excellent quality. Every meal was enjoyable, and the service at the restaurant was just as impressive as the rest of the hotel. The overall atmosphere of the resort is peaceful and beautiful, making it a perfect place to stay while exploring Skardu. I highly recommend Skardu Saraye Hotel & Resort to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location and very homely vibe. Rooms were clean and spacious but the standout was the attentiveness and hospitality of the staff. Big shout out to Arif for tending to our every need and helping us navigate the north.

“Cheap and cheerful with service and a smile”

This is a no frills accommodation, basic rooms, set in very pretty grounds. The roses are so pretty. The soothing sounds of rural life such as the cows mooing in the background and the birds singing away made it possible to switch off from a fast paced life. Arif has been particularly hospitable where nothing is too much trouble. Very thoughtful when my sister was unwell they went out of their way to provide mountain tea and other local produce.

Great guesthouse experience. The staff is very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Skardu. The mattress and pillow were the most comfortable I've ever slept in! I would've asked to take one home if I could.

The property is spacious, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, with plenty of roses, apple trees, and a charming fish pond. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with hot water available 24/7. The fresh, home-style food is delicious—especially the lentil soup with rice. The management team (Amjad, Arif, Zeeshan) is extremely friendly, humble, and always ready to help. Perfect for families, with lots of open space to relax with tea or coffee. Great value for money.

It was a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of Skardu. The service and support from pick up at the airport to our departure date was very good. They also provided transport and advice on tourist locations that was very helpful. Altogether a very good first introduction to Pakistan, and a highly recommended location.

We came with no expectations for acommodation in this town, but we were lucky enough to find this amazing family who are genuinely hospitable. There are 5 brothers that take care of it and they do it properly, in the true Pakistani spirit. The rooms are big and have everything you need, the breakfast is amazing (especially served outside), and they have free airport shuttle. Also, it's hidden from the noise and the fumes, but not that far from the city. I trully recommend. Specifically thankful to Owner MR Amjad.

Lovely staff, decent location, low price, nice grounds. Shower was hot with decent water pressure.

Good central location in Skardu (it’s not beside the airport as the booking.com mp indicates). Hotel is in its own large private grounds and has large comfortable bedrooms. Would be excellent for summer stays (we were there at start of winter and were given extra blankets). The hotel owner was very attentive and ensured we enjoyed our stay.
