“Nice hotel off the beaten track.”
The hotel was nice, staff very welcoming and Skanevik was a nice little village, perhaps a bit off the tourist trail but that adds to the charm of the place. Home cooked food was very good and traditionally Norwegian, especially the kumle!

“Potential for much more, could use some repairs”
Great location with good sized rooms, spacious lounge and activity rooms such as library. Bikes to use and other extras. Been here for the second time.

“This place deserves your visit!”
We booked last minute! Of course this place is deserted 2 days before the new year… but what a coincidence we managed again to find a place which is much more than a hotel! Inger Karin, the owner, has such a beautiful soul, great values and making dreams of young people come true! Sharing is Caring… you should go and check yourself!

“Vintage hotel, close to the beach”
Situated in the center of Skånevik, surrounded by public transportation. The lobby is spacious, the bed very big. Big windows offer much daylight. Bicycles can be borrowed for free!

“very friendly staff and a beautiful location”
friendliest welcome of our trip so far by the host! Hotel is a little dated in places but rooms were lovely and comfortable and had a fridge (bonus!). pretty little town on the edge of the fjord. hotel is a stones throw from the waters edge and the ferry terminal. out of season so only a couple of options for dinner - homemade meatballs or fish cakes, but huge portions! breakfast was included and bacon and eggs cooked especially for us, along with the usual continental options.

“All the little things get forgotten, when you feel as welcome as we did in this hotel!”
Staff was just the kindest ever. I loved their professionalism, passion and knowledge about the place. Super kind and always happy to help! Linens and towels were fresh and snowy white :-) Food was great! Starting with lovely breakfast finishing with great "norwegian dinner" and lovely pizza ❤️ Our dog was very welcome and free of charge! (She even managed to scrounge some liver paste 😉) Double parking(cause we came with the trailer) wasn't a problem.

“Well located place, a bit outdated with friendly staff”
The place has a certain charm, it's not renovated but please don't and better try to maintain your existing stuff, I would have loved to have the old radio working in the room
