“Exceptional small and friendly hotel”

Loved Captains House..the staff, port view, proximity to the village, port bus stop etc. Kathy and Larissa were welcoming and friendly. We were offered choice of pool or port view despite having had to book a pool view..port view thank you v much ! The breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. Enjoyed taking our coffee down onto the small shingle beach infront of the hotel to ferry watch. The hotel and room was absolutely spotless. Thank you Kathy and Larissa for everything you did. We loved Patmos and will definitely return.

Location is great, ceter of Skala. Room is very comfortable and quiet. Owner is wery kind. It was great experience an I am sure I will stay there when next time visit Patmos. By the way, Patmos is wery beatiful island with nice beaches, great cuisine, cozy cafeterias an nice smal shops to spend your money😀. All this is only hundred meters from hotel Old captain.

A simple traditional family run hotel. A comfortable bed and good shower. Good views from our room across the harbour and bay. The location was handy for the town and some good walks nearby. Great owners.

We liked the cozy room very much. It was decorated with blue which was in a harmony of the sea view. This provided us to feel relax and happy. The owner was very kind and helpful. The location was amazing that it was 1 min far away from the ferry port.

Extremely clean, and very friendly staff! Right on the waterfront and a very short walk from the ferry (1-2mins). A quiet and safe location; and very close to stores, supermarkets, restaurants, bus and taxi, etc. We could walk to everything. Also, a great location for going hiking, swimming, etc. The seaview room had a beautiful waterfront view, private balcony, and was very relaxing! The interior wood decor adds charm. We enjoyed the Captain's House Hotel and Patmos so much that we extended our stay! We would definitely stay here again!

The Captains House is perfectly situated about 200m from the Port and in the heart of Skala. It’s a lovely family run hotel. The staff were very friendly and the place was lovely and clean. It has a nice pool area and little sitting areas dotted around the multi levels of the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the owner makes her own (very yummy) cakes and jam. We were offered a free upgrade to a sea view room which had an amazing view. I would highly recommend staying here.
