Sjøholt Camping is located in a forest area, 1.5 km from Sjøholt town centre. Our cabin was clean. The kitchen was well-equipped. The living space in the cabin is limited. It could feel congested for four people, if you intend to spend a lot of time indoors. We didn't have an issue with this, as we only used the cabin as a base to explore the surrounding areas.

We were a group of 16 people, so we rented two buildings. We really liked the large two bedroom apartment. It was very spacious, with a large terrace and a well-equipped kitchen, which had everything you could possibly need. Special thanks to the Polish girl at the reception for her lovely service.

“Comfortable stay. Basic facilities = value for money.”
Convenient location for our road trip. Staffs were helpful. Cabins were neat and clean. It even has a small bar fridge. Clean common toilets and showers. Small kitchen.

“Good base. Family cabins good.”
The cabin was sufficient for a comfy stay. We had family cabin 2. Cabin was spacious, kitchen had enough equipment to cook meals during our stay. Bathroom was fine. Beds were comfy. Sofa was used, it was fine too. In reading reviews you could tell that the owners are trying to make improvements and take on feedback. Good location to access nearby sights.

The owner was willing and helpful in the case of a problem. The accommodation and the surrounding place are nice and perfectly located. It is possible to do several hiking/freeride skiing around this area. A couple of minutes is a nice beach.
