“A great home far from all the fuss”

The houses are in a secluded area, overlooking a beautiful valley. The views are simply stunning. The owner helped us get a tour of Ledena Pećina (a stalactite cave nearby).

A very nice location, 2 km away from Viewpoint Veliki Vrh. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, the son of the host also speaks English, which was a huge plus for us! The house we stayed in (koliba 1) was composed of 3 rooms, with plenty of space for 6 people (we were only 2). The interior was very nice, the exterior could use a little refurbishing, maybe a lick of paint. Rooms were spacious, bathroom was also spacious enough, you have everything you need in the kitchen. We didn't cook anything during our stay, so I can't tell you much about the cooking facilities. Hosts also own the terase right next to the Viewpoint, so you can buy drinks and pancakes from therm at a more than a reasonable price if you don't have them already bought from Sjenica.

“Beautiful scenery and a cosy place”

The cottage is equipped with everything you need except a washing machine and a worktop in the kitchen. The owner is very kind and helpful. The views are magnificent. The kitchen is equipped with necessary pans and pots as well as salt, sugar and even spices. The bed wasa comfortable. Rakija provided by the owner is waiting in the fridge for you upon arrival :-)

Great location, you can reach the viewpoint by foot. Vojo and his family are great hosts, they explain you what to need to see while visiting Uvac and help you with booking the boat trip. They also serve the best pancakes near the viewpoint.

Remote location on the top of the hill, overlooking green pastures and neighboring hills. Nature at it's best! Cabins are secluded and all have amazing views. Don't miss out sunsets and sunrises here-it's priceless. Cabin 1 where we stayed is spacious, has living room, bathroom, kitchen and bedroom downstairs and two more bedrooms upstairs. Clean, tidy and well equipped, cabin is a home away from home. Hosts are very kind and organized us a boat tour on Uvac. They own a cute little cafe very close to a viewpoint on the top of the hill where they will make you coffee and explain where to go and what to do while there. All in all, we loved it and will most definitely come again.

What a beautiful view! It was a bit hard to get there but it's worth it. On a walking distance of three viewing points, easy to find. You can find everything in the house to cook a meal. Hospitality was great

Everything was perfect. The view, the peace and serenity high in the mountains. A shirt walk to the beautiful views over the Uvac river. The kolibe was a perfect mountain getaway with all the facilities that one can need. Definitely recommend!

Is a beautiful wooden house in the middle of nowhere with scenic view. The canyon is half an hour easy walk from the property.

“AMAZING”

The view, the environment, the interior, the hosts, the location, simply everything was perfect for us and very nice! You have an own little kitchen where you can cook your meals and eat it outside after with an amazing view! The roads up to the apartment are not the best, if you have a small and low car you should go slow. Not far from the appartment is an amazing viewpoint on wich the owner of the cottages has a small bar. I totalla recommend this amazing little cottages!!

We loved our stay at Markove Kolibe. The view is to die for and the hosts are very welcoming. We were thrilled to be shown around their farm and to try milking their cow! The accommodation is clean and comfortable but it's the nature around it that is really special. Just be ready for driving on some dirt roads to get there!
