The hotel rooms are really tired and falling apart. The door handle fell off, everything is peeling (wall paper, veneer cabinets etc). The bedside lamp didn't work (the housekeeping obviously knew this already as it was just left unplugged when we first accessed the room), the spare power points are behind the bed and didn't function. There was no airconditioning so the rooms are unbearably hot. The breakfast buffet was atrocious, all of the food was left out for hours and covered in flies. The gym was dirty and full of non-guests. The lake is full of rubbish. The staff are just going through the motions, one receptionist in particular was borderline rude (didn't look up from scrolling on her phone anytime you went to reception and no acknowledgement). All of the photos are clearly from when the hotel first opened and now it's terribly run down. Avoid this place.

“A pleasant stay with great staff, but room selection is key for comfort.”
The staff at Hotel Borovi were very pleasant and friendly, making our stay more enjoyable. The spa was lovely, providing a relaxing experience, and the food was good—everything is sourced from their own farm, which adds a unique and authentic touch. I would also like to thank Aida from the front desk for her kindness and willingness to help us with the issues we faced during our stay.

“Dreamy”
The hotel looks amazing, both from the outside and from the inside. The room was comfortable and luxurious. The pool is semi-Olympic and down to 2.20m deep, which is perfection for us swimmers. The staff is top notch because they were always there to help and ask if I needed anything. I would especially like to praise the girls at the reception because they were always smiling, professional and pleasant. I will definitely be back again, next time with my family.

“Wonderful”
When we entered the hotel, the reception greeted us very cordially and escorted us to the room. I constantly stay in hotels due to my job and I can easily put Borovi Hotel at the top of the list. It has the capacity to set an example for other hotels with its cleanliness, friendliness, service and food. There are so many varieties in the open buffet breakfast that it is impossible for you to stay hungry.
