Everything was fine. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was hearty, and the staff was helpful! The dining area set up inside a wine barrel was a very creative touch, which made dinner really cozy. :)

Wine tasting, meat on a hot stone with a potato, eating in a barrel, actuallz available parking. Great experience, I will come again.

6* out of 5. It's nothing luxurious, but in the segment of accommodation and service offerings in which the hotel is located, it's excellent accommodation. Pleasantly and decently furnished rooms, clean everywhere, excellent and very tasty cuisine ... and most importantly super staff. We were only there for one night, but I wouldn't be afraid to spend a long weekend there (3-4 nights). And considering how close the accommodation is to Sinsheim, this visit probably wasn't my last.

We had a lovely room; great size and no noise. Very little passing traffic. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and strong. The staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was excellent…a buffet style with hot and cold choices. We have stayed at a lot of hotels but this one although small was one of the best.

Clean comfortable room for us and our two fur babies. Nice dinner and breakfast, would definitely recommend! The town is beautiful, even if there were some roadworks near the property we managed alright.

Lovely characterful hotel, with a superb restaurant and a large comfortable family room. The food was the star of the stay - dinner in the wine barrel was excellent fun, and delicious. And breakfast was fantastic too. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Quiet location but also close to the Technik Museum

When I arrived the system had overbooked the place, but the very helpful lady took me to the next gasthaus just round the corner which also was very good. Walked back and had an excellent meal in the restaurant. Thank you.

The choice for breakfast was very good and we all found plenty to our liking. The countryside location was convenient to visit Sinsheim museum. Our evening meal in a wine cask was memorable.

Service was personal and they adapted to our requests. I liked the quiet location.

Bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. Restaurant areas with wine barrel booths and old woodworking tools were both unusual and genius. Breakfast was excellent value. Overall a great stay.

This was a last minute booking due to a bad experience with a hotel in a nearby village - but a much better option. Pleasant small hotel with an interesting twist - the restaurant dining booths were huge wine barrels. Very friendly and helpful staff, spacious room with a good bed. No cleanliness issues. Good evening menu in English with a choice of wines (many home produced). Adequate breakfast - the lady made me very nice scrambled eggs and bacon in addition to the buffet options. Free car parking. Ideally located for the Sinsheim Tecknik Museum.

The hotel is a lovely place to stay. It's sufficiently out of the way to be very quiet and yet a few minutes walk from the Technik Museum. The room was comfortable. Would stay again.

The location was ideal for our travel plans. The room was clean and there was a good buffet breakfast. We also had dinner at the hotel which was typical tasty German fare and they had unique seating in huge wine barrels which was novel. Free car parking is available.

Nice small but very clean room. We had all we needed for a night's stay in September. Pet friendly as well. We had a very nice dinner in one of the barrels which was a unique experience, also breakfast was great. Very friendly staff. The location is lovely, we went up hill near the castle, lovely vineyards and friendly locals. Will stay here again but perhaps not suitable for a hot summer stay as there is no airconditioning in the room.

Nice room with everything you need. Friendly staff. We especially liked the restaurant - we had an amazing dinner in a wine barrel. The wines are also exceptional.
