Overview
Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos are located on the Arctic Circle, 30 minutes’ drive from central Rovaniemi. Glass Igloos offer heated floors and thermal-glass roofs with a view to the sky. A private bathroom with a shower is featured in all glass igloos. The igloo has a 360-degree glass roof to ensure views in all directions. SnowHotel rooms has temperature of 0 to -5 degrees Celsius regardless of the outdoor temperature. The rooms are equipped with electric lights with shared bathroom and shower facilities. Upon arrival the guests will be taken for a guided tour and receive high quality sleeping bags for their overnight stay. Please notice that only 1 night stay in the SnowHotel is recommended due to extreme experience sleeping in below 0 Celsius degree temperature. The hotel's special Aurora Borealis alarm service guarantees that guests won't miss an appearance of the Northern Lights. Guests can enjoy a snow sauna and outdoor jacuzzi, as well as a sauna located beside Lake Lehtojärvi. Characteristic Lappish dishes with local products are served in the restaurants. There’s Icebar and 3 restaurants on site. Snowshoeing and ice fishing with a local guide are possible on site. From mid-December to end of March, guests have free admission to the SnowHotel. Guests have a free entrance to Snowman World located in Santa Claus Village, open 6th Dec to middle of March. Guests can enjoy activities such as ice skating and ice slides. Transfer to and from Rovaniemi Airport or Rovaniemi city center, 35 km away, can be arranged.

“Nil”
The property is nice in design, great staff at the receptionist. Breakfast was also great but will be better if there was a corner for asian food. Ice bar is also close as the weather starts to warm up and it is starting to melt but hotel is nice enough to provide a complimentary drink. There are also tour for ice hotel but Most of the ice sculpture is already melting. There is a sauna but shared for both genders.

We couldnt see the northern lights while we stayed, because of the cloudy sky. But I enjoyed the last munite I spent at hotel. The breakfast was very good and like frozen lake around the hotel so much to see. And I think that If you could do timing right, you will have an amazing experience to see northern lights in glass igloos.

How amazing the whole area was, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, the snow hotel was nothing like I've ever seen before I really enjoyed my stay there.

Once in a life time experience, where else would you stay in a snow hotel. beds and sleeping bags where comfortable. but could of done with an extra layer of clothing. breakfast was great and the location is great for a walk round. also staff are al friendly

Breakfast is really good. The hotel is amazing. Once in a lifetime experience. We stayed in the igloos and it is definitely better. Also Since it is far away from the center, you can see the northern lights, and they give an alarm in the hotel when they appear. You get to see an amazing hotel. Even tough I would not come back for the following reasons, I would definitley recommend it for once in your life. Since they know nobody comes back they do not have the tendency to be nice or welcoming.
