Very unique place with a lot of character and history. Right next to very nice hiking trails of the nearby national park.

Love everything about this place. For the money they ask you really can't expect anything more.

“Fairytale like stay for a perfect nature adventure”

The location is spectacular, situated inside the national park and overlooking a meticulously maintained botanical garden. The room is spacious, antique, with very comfortable bedding. The common room has very speedy WiFi. The surrounding area is insanely serene and lush, perfect for a morning jog.

The location is amazing and buses run regularly to town. If you come to hike this is the place to be.

Fantastic place with great staff. Old manor with original features, very natural look of old sanatorium, very nice park to read and walk. Excellent place for hikers, good distance for a walk to visit Sigulda (we went to the concert at the castle), cable car nearby too. Generous check out time at 12. Breakfast cafe next door.

It’s a stunning location from which you can do amazing hikes but I was not allowed in the building itself even though I would’ve liked it. I did see there was a wedding or something but the lady behind the counter only said: no. Only outside

The room was very spacious, and our family of four had plenty of room for everything. The main bed was wide enough to comfortably fit two adults and a 7-year-old. Extra blankets were provided, which was a thoughtful touch. The fridge and kettle in the room were also convenient additions. We arrived late, but the late check-in was made easy and smooth thanks to the helpful staff. The location is excellent – very close to the cable car, and several hiking trails start right next to the manor. In our opinion, this is the perfect place to stay in Sigulda, especially if you’re more interested in nature and hiking than just strolling around the town.

“A peaceful stay in some wonderful countryside.”

It was a wonderful old building and its location was superb. We had read other reviews so we knew the peeling paint poor and general poor state of exterior repair didn’t come as a surprise. We had wonderful walks in the surrounding woods to the nearby sights and loved the cable car across the valley. The food at Milleys cafe was basic but a good price.

Great location. Quiet, Cheap. It use to be a sanatorium and is outdated but to us that was part of the charm.

If you are looking for something different, without too spectacular expectations, you got it. It`s an old manor, price was good and location too. Only few minutes walk to funicular, which brings you to Sigulda center. Nice garden and big rooms. We had quite a big tub there as well.
