“Fabulous rural escape in a modern cabin”

Stayed only 1 night in August and the whole family loved it. Lovely immaculate cabin with everything we needed (including mosquito spray!) Plenty of outside seating in different places around the small lake. Sauna was great (book in advance) and we all swam in the lake despite being a bit murky! Communication with the owner was easy and we felt it was great value.

Frīdis aka houseowner super nice guy; premesis were clean and about everything was tought about, like, if you want to grill - you just need a meat what you want to grill - everything else was already there. Also random herbal teas for the sauna and home made welcome snacks from the owner. Super nice place, recommend! Nice, comfortable and peacfull place. A+++

I really liked the location of the cabin. It felt like being in the forest, but with all the comforts. We arrived at the cabin late in the evening, but the sauna was already waiting for us as we had booked it in advance. There is no table for dinner in the main house, but we had dinner every day in the sauna where there is a large table. The house has everything you need, very clean and warm. The landscape is also very nicely done, unfortunately we came to Fridis&Chill in the fall and did not enjoy the outdoor furniture as it was cold. But there is a plan to come back in the summer!

It was just perfect!

Place is very good for a quiet stay. Kitchen is well equipped, all kinds of pots and pans, roaster etc. Separate bedroom is nice so "the living" room is spacious enough. Definitely worth staying and possibly will return someday.

An exceptional place in an excellent location! The house itself was immaculate, both beautifully furnished and spotless. The bedroom overlooking the forest was stunning! Everything is very well thought through, the property caters to your every need. We enjoyed setting up a fire in the evening and using the sauna in the morning for a perfect start to the day! The sauna is spacious and very comfortable. The place is based in a great location within an easy drive to Gaujas National Park.
