Great staff, great food and the room is very clean and spacious. I also did a night walk to see some Loris and a sunrise walk up to Pidurangala and it was great!

Staff were fantastic and it’s a great base for Sigiriya. Jungle location incredible, you really did feel like you’re in the back of beyond. Cafe on site was very nice The safaris were brilliant - we did the slow loris night walk and a daytime elephant, both were very well done

I like the idea of sleeping in the forest. It truly provides us the unforgettable experiences.

I really enjoyed the stay in a treehouse, so close to the monkeys. Dinner and breakfast was tasty! The staff was very friendly.

Great location for Lion and Pidurangala Rock. Very close to elephant safari too! Unique experience to camp outside with wildlife. The monkeys came into our hut and were friendly and funny. The sounds of nature at night are beautiful!

“Don't worry, the monkeys sleep too when you are!”

Amazing experience! Obviously you're sleeping among wildlife and still in outdoors, so you should keep all items closed. There is no wifi in the treehuts, which for us wasn't a problem. We slept really well, although it was a bit rainy (read moist, but not that bad) and you hear the animals. If you're sensitive to noises, just bring some earplugs, but the sounds make up the experince. The beds are comfy and the rooms spacious enough for luggages. There's a box for some stuff to keep. There are extra covers in case you'll get chilly. The nets over the beds fitted well. The bathroom was underneath the treehut, which was also very spacious. We also joined the Loris hunting!! Must do, if you like to see animals in the wild. It starts after dark and they have special lights not to blind the animals. We saw more than just loris', including civits, birds, fireflies, the stars, ... it includes a presentation and some explanation on the projects the accommodation does to preserve wildlife - which could be shared more with the guests either way!

Located in the centre of nature, our perfect was stayed. Everything is well prepared, breakfast is great, everybody is very helpful.

Unique experience waking up to monkeys in our room after the Pidurangala hike! Good location for the hike trailheads but you can’t walk when it’s dark so bear that in mind. Lovely helpful staff

“Magical jungle experience - excellent!!”

Such a unique experience! A true jungle getaway. We loved our stay, and didn’t want to leave. The staff were fantastic - extremely attentive, friendly, and fantastic guides on all the tours/activities we did.

“Great treehouse stay in the jungle.”

Loved the treehouse set up… plenty of room for a family. i loved the hammock off the side. Clean and spacious bathroom downstairs. Food was authentic and yummy. Dogs visit the site, but are very friendly. Location was great if you want to immerse in the jungle and be close to hiking Pidurangula at sunrise, need to grab a tuk tuk into town.

“Into the wild”

We had a great stay in the tree house. It’s a truly unique place, and hearing the sounds of the surrounding jungle right from your bed is an extraordinary experience. The location is very close to Pidurangala, and there’s a nice vegetarian restaurant nearby, also run by Back of Beyond, where we enjoyed dinner.

Amazing to be in the treehouse and like others said especially waking with with the sounds of the wildlife around. Saw monkeys, loris, large butterflies and plenty of bugs!
