“Enjoy the silence”
Great location, good spot for trips in Østmarka national park. Right in the middle of nature, quiet. Amazing view from our room. We also enjoyed eating in Bjørk restaurant. All employees were super nice.

“Great value for money - could do with some minor improvements”
The rooms were nice and large. The towels and linen fresh and clean. The breakfest selection was very tasty and they had many options to choose from.

“Nice stop for exploring the city yet for a reasonable price”
Very nice place surrounded by beautiful nature. The place is quite large and the buildings are many, but walking around was nice. Excellent breakfast with really lots of choices - no preference is left behind! It is quite exceptional and gives you a chance to try some local products. Late night check-in was not a problem, you only need to ring the doorbell. Parking is free and there's plenty of spaces. Going to the city with the bus is fine, just keep the schedule in mind. Line 550 goes every hour and the drive is some 20-30 min, so no stress here. All in all it's a nice stop to explore Oslo without need to worry about your car.

“A hidden gem in the middle of the forest!”
A hidden gem in the middle of the forest! What a surprise, we were just on our journey home from a Sweden vacation, and would loved to stay longer than one night. Very good communication and service, sufficient and clean room, very good breakfast. Scenic surrounding, lake for swimming, hiking trails nearby Can absolutely recommend this hotel!

Since we visited during a time of few people, we had an excellent opportunity to have the whole hotel for ourselves(almost).The place itself is with history, so that's something to look into. It was quite a fascinating stay for us. Nature around the area is really worth the hiking.
