“Beautiful house in a quiet setting”

This charming house is set in a beautiful garden and has a small, pleasant swimming pool. The location is very quiet, and the beds are large and comfortable. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The hosts are very kind and helpful. The city center and restaurants are about 10 minutes away by tuk-tuk, which can be called from the reception desk with a 10-minute wait. You can arrange a tuk-tuk for day trips to the temples through the host at an affordable price. We had an exceptional driver, Mr. Bol, whom we recommend.

Atoh’s Maison is situated on the road to Angkor. It is about 4 km to the city centre. The accommodation provides free hire bikes, which can be used to reach both the city centre and Angkor. Atoh’s Maison was the best choice for me in Siem Reap. The excellent service was evident right from the start, when I was picked up from the bus stop free of charge. Due to a cold, I stayed longer than planned. Sitoh, the owner, and the entire staff went out of their way to ensure my comfort. I found the whole atmosphere very friendly, supportive and relaxed. A lovely house built by the owners, a Cambodian couple, with great attention to detail in both the furniture and overall aesthetics. The staff is warm and always helpful, while still respecting your privacy. A well-kept garden surrounds the property, with mango trees and birds hopping around. We were looking for a place that doesn’t feel like a resort, but rather a small hotel where you can truly enjoy your privacy, and that’s exactly what we found. We would highly recommend it!

It is a beautiful building with a garden full of fruit and a lovely very clean pool. It’s a great place to relax even though it’s pretty lively outside the compound.

Everything is perfect! Stay here! I didn't want to leave. It is such a lovely welcoming environment. It feels like a luxury home stay in the sense you feel like you know the staff and owners by the end of your stay and will miss them! The facilities are great, perfect room, gorgeous pool and lovely breakfast. They bring you various fruit whenever you are by the pool. The whole place is beautiful and is very tasteful and designed very well. Sitoh will organise all your tours which takes away the stress and you can just enjoy yourself. She speaks excellent English and also French very well. The dog you see around was rescued by them. It was a puppy out in the rain and 8 years later he's still with them. 🥰

“Oasis of calm”

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The place is spotless and very fresh. It is small and provides a personal experience. The location is a little out of town, we specifically wanted this, we had breakfast on a patio, by the pool, surrounded by trees and the sound of birds. The pool area was quiet and a real escape. A tuk tuk into town cost $3 and Sitoh arranged this whenever we needed it. Sitoh sat with us and arranged a schedule for the week, she organised an excellent English speaking guide, a driver and tickets. You couldn't ask for more. She made it very easy. I would definitely recommend here.

“Relaxing stay in a beautiful hotel”

Our stay at Atoh's Maison was very relaxing, especially after a long day out. The entire hotel was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Our bedroom balcony was the perfect place to sit and relax, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. Sitoh and the staff were incredible throughout our stay and they even surprised my wife with selection of desserts on her birthday, making our stay extra special.

Everything, from your tableware to glasses to paintings, to sculptures is chosen with appreciation for the Khmer history, culture and simply great taste. I took so much inspiration from it // Breakfast is served, and everything is fresh - you can choose from continental, Cambodian or French breakfast. I never tasted such tasty, freshly made croissants, and living in Brussels, I know to value a good croissant. Also the Cambodian fried rice is made fresh and it tastes like heaven. // Staff is always present and always invisible. If need help, you’ll get it, if you don’t, you’ll have a feeling you are all by yourself // The pool has salted water - what a delight and refreshment after spending a day visiting Angkor Vat temples. You are always served water and fruit when you go to the swimming pool. // The room is large and comfortable. We got an extra bed for our three-year old // You’ll get tuk-tuk or taxi organised // The location is perfect - only 12 min walking distance from the ticket office, there are many great places to eat nearby - seafood, Cambodian barbecue, Khmer cuisine - and you can order Grab and eat at the terrace. We were offered plates and cutlery, which was amazing. // Simply great experience with great hosts who care about people and who do something they love.

Very warm people who were kind and thoughtful in looking after their guests. Someone was always there to help with any question. I had a tour of Angkor Wat with excellent guide organized by the hotel. Lovely garden and pool. Very good breakfast.

“Magic house in the middle of garden”

We slept in a beautiful, large house in the middle of a garden. A magical place with the kindest hostess who organized a trip to Angkor Wat for us and daily massages, where a driver would pick us up and take us for the massage. It's a pity we stayed there for such a short time.

We chose Atoh's Maison after reading all the positive reviews. We were not disappointed! Exceptional accommodation set in beautiful gardens. Tremendous hospitality from Sitoh and all her staff. Tasty breakfasts. Space to relax on your terrace, in the gardens, or at the pool. The location allowed for the opportunity to be closer to day to day living in Siem Reap but always the tuk tuk at hand (thanks Cheang) to take you wherever you wanted to be in town or out to temples and beyond. Local places to eat near the accommodation if required. We stayed five nights and as each day passed we liked being there even more and more. A real feeling of sadness leaving everyone at Aton's Maison. We would definitely recommend.....our favourite accommodation for some time.
